Called for a quick look round while in town. WR has a lot of quirky gift ideas at various price points. They stock Sasse and Belle, along with East of India. The time I called in it wasn't very busy so you could have a good look round.

Came in on Saturday and some comments were made to my sister who wears a hijab. The shopkeeper just started talking about the local protests and presumed we were there and making passive aggressive comments under her breath. It was completely unprompted and it wasn't until later that we realised we had been treated differently because she wears a headscarf and I don't. No one deserved to be treated like that. It's hypocritical to sell items which convey happiness and wellbeing and then employ staff with such ignorance and small mindedness. Do better.

I came to this store in the pouring rain, the decoration style is more warm and comfortable, there are some Jelly Cat dolls, especially soft and cute , I bought a small octopus here, it is a fun and precious memory. I feel that the placement of items in the store is full of small tricks, which makes people smile, and the fun of shopping is greatly increased.

Went in today to buy some coffee cups and the gentleman that served me was so helpful! He also shouted his colleagues to help so we could all decide which mug was the best for flat whites. Then we had a lovely chat about my little boy who is in hospital at the moment. Just what I needed on a rainy Saturday to cheer me up! Great service and brilliant products from independent retailers, will 100% be visiting again!!

Been there to buy two jellycats and then discovering that i paid more than the price labelled. I got back and the lady refused to pay the difference saying ?We don?t have to?. Not a pleasent experience. I bought many times from this shop but after this, I don?t think I?ll buy again. I didn?t argue to not be rude for 6 pounds but I hope they understand that it?s not about 6 pounds. It?s just disappointing from the a client?s point of view. Online costs even less. Take an eye when you buy?

Cute lovely shop that?s such a joy to browse around in. It just gets a bit cramped in space when it?s busy, the layout has a lot of shelves and display tables so with many people it could be hard to walk through freely - but that?s a good thing really, more items & customers! They have a nice card and jewellery collection too
