Cold burnt food, chef lack of care shows.. Had the check to serve burnt toast, all the food was cold? Can?t understand why the staff did not return to kitchen ? See photo it?s obvious you should not serve

The best Whetherspoons my husband and I have visited. It is clean, friendly helpful staff and an enjoyable meal! I asked for a receipt as I have an hearing impairment but I walked away without it. It turned out the manager brought it to our table and explained that receipts were not give as it is good for the environment I told him that l fully understand and it is an excellent idea- saving trees, planet ect. I said that we are keen to recycle everything we can. The manager told us he had a water butt to catch rain water to feed the plants of the grounds of his Whertherspoons! He was also working hard cleaning tables ect while talking to us. How good is that ? Well done to him an exemplary Whetherspoons they should all be like this. Well done Chappletown in South Yorkshire!

Had the Whitby Scampi and Chips for an early evening meal. Usual pub grub, nothing fancy. The pub was very busy but good service and an enjoyable experience.

Came here on a hot evening and sat outside with a good view out onto Millhouses Park. Very friendly and helpful staff, and a decent range of ales on draught. Food a bit on the stodgy side - eg the flatbreads with confit garlic: appealing idea but too much bread! The mezze plate was the same, with tasty hummus and grilled/roasted veg, but definitely too much flatbread, and the olives though enormous weren?t particularly tasty. Jenny was happy with her chicken and skinny fries though, and I?d have been much happier if the Sag Aloo pie I really wanted hadn?t been off. The cheese jalapeño and sweetcorn fritters I had as part of an alternative were definitely too heavy and I wished I?d had a big fresh salad. As pub food often goes this wasn?t a bad meal though - just need to change my expectations.

We visited here twice over a weekend for breakfasts whilst attending a friends wedding nearby. A standard JDW menu but the breakfasts were lovely and of course reasonably priced. The place was spacious and clean and the staff were friendly and attentive. On the second day we ate in the outside section as it was a lovely morning and we enjoyed that. A very nice experience

I recently visited the Wagon and Horses in Chapeltown, Sheffield and it is by far the worst Wetherspoons I have ever been to. The bar staff all looked like they needed a good wash and a clean T-shirt. They made sure they served their mates first and ignored everyone else. During the ten minutes I was waiting to be served I saw one of the bar staff knock over someone?s double gin and just top it back up with lemonade, the heads on the Stella that was being served were like ice creams because no one could be bothered to sort the pump out plus there were stacks of glasses on the floor in the crates they come out of the glass washer in - very hygienic (not). The place was absolutely rammed, yet we were shouted at by a very confrontational and aggressive bar person called ?Becca? to move away from the bar area. When I asked where we should move to I was told ?there are other pubs down the road?!! Despite stepping away from the bar area she saw fit to get the so called manager involved who informed me that if I continued to be aggressive I would be asked to leave - FYI the only aggressive person in this scenario was the delightful ?Becca?. I have never experienced anything like this place in my life - I?m 56 by the way and I know how to behave in a pub unlike the staff and managers in this place.

Saturday afternoon the place was quite empty, covid restrictions was in place and we felt comfortable. You know what you get with a weatherspoons food standard drinks cheap All in all a pleasure to be going out again

First visit to this outlet with my wife. Very impressed with all aspects of covid safety protocols. Security staff were very welcoming and showed us to a table almost immediately after usual signing in ( NHS app). Waitress staff very busy, however, we were served promptly. Tables screened from each other and all areas were spotlessly clean. Departed with many staff acknowledging with a smile and a wave. Thanks to all.

cannot get refund for being charged twice for food last week. Every excuse in the book. Will never go again.

No social distancing at all. Was sat on the same table with a party of 8, with no partitions or space between. App to order food and drink does not work, due to busy order (which is not their fault). However staff were friendly and setting was nice, let down by no social distancing.
