Really caring nurses that work hard. Only criticism is that some other staff had zero consideration when I and other patients were trying to sleep. Got almost zero rest in my 3 day stay, which made me feel worse/ irritable and stressed

Went to A&E as I had hurt my ankle I went to reception whilst my partner parked up - was told to go through to minor injuries by the time my partner arrived and we went through they were calling my name, Then got sent to X-ray only waited around 5/10 mins there, back to minor injuries where I waited for about another 10/15 mins before the nurse came back with a wheelchair and took me into another cubicle where I saw a Dr - very clear explanation from him and sent for another X-ray before being seen again, painkillers issued right away. From going in to leaving probably took a total of 2 hrs, I was very impressed and the staff were all lovely

Heart issues visit to A&EThis was the best interaction with any hospital I have ever had anywhere in the UK. All the colleagues from front line receptionist to the consultant were brilliant. One great machine all functioning together. Fantastic people.

My mum of 89 has been on Chesterman 3 for a week and her nursing care could not have been better. Every shift was so caring, nothing was too much trouble and even coming out today, the ward clerk made 2 trips from the ward to the main entrance bringing equipment for mum to take home! NHS staff rarely get the recognition they deserve so I wanted to take the time to make sure anyone could read this and be confident of the care they would receive on this ward

Clinical Immunology and Allergy. After nearly a years wait for an appointment, I phoned on the off chance That I maybe lucky to get my allergies sorted, to a degree which was at the very least of my expectations.I was lucky, I was offered an appt and I was chuffed.I checked in and waited my turn in the queue, there were quite a few of us, very busy day in the Dept! I had some prick tests on my arm, which all came out positive. The staff were all busy with doing their tests on other patients too. My tests were done and I was advised that I would be prescribed with the appropriate meds. The staff were all kind and professional, nothing was too much trouble. I am just so happy that I finally have a conclusion to my problem after quite a few years. Thank you all so much.

Great staff but get some comprehensive signage! All you see are people confused and wandering around, having to pester already busy staff to find ANYTHING in this building. Been like this for years!

The nurses on Hadfield 5 very laid back n talking too much conversation about going to the gym after I've asked for a cup n waiting for 20 minutes.. Ridiculous.. This Hospital rating is going down hill..
