Staff are nice and polite despite being overworked and dealing with a dysfunctional NHS and privatised supply chain. The problem is structural not with staff. They also have to deal with a lot of disrespectful customers and I honestly feel sorry for them.

what is it with this pharmacy where they get you to phone your prescription 2 or 3 days in advance, which is what I do. Then for the 3rd time it's not ready after 3 days of me phoning it in?? She says ohh can you manage without until tomorrow? duh it's why I tried to get it in advance cos I knew I wa going to run out..

A lovely pharmacist took the time to talk me through the process of obtaining an emergency prescription. The staff in general all seem friendly and knowledgeable, and the turnaround for repeat prescriptions is fair.

I'm absolutely disgusted with the staff at this pharmacy! A woman with what sounded like an African accent but I could be wrong, answered the telephone. She was rude throughout the conversation and when I asked if I could please speak with someone else she hung up on me. Not great when you're trying to sort out medication for depression. I hope the woman in question doesn't speak to everyone like this. . Horrible and vile!

Excellent service. The very wonderful people in this pharmacy went completely out of their way to correct the incompetence of the pharmacy located two doors up. Additionally, I love the diversity of the employees here - they represent my values. I am just so sorry they have to deal with the scaley racists and disgusting smelly local people that have to use this pharmacy. Fortunately, neither pharmacy in Hillsborough is my usual or local pharmacy - given the locals - but I am so thankful for their help.

I left my last pharmacy because they left me without pain meds for a week! My first prescription with Well was received Monday (I spoke to my gp surgery). I ring Wednesday asking where it is to be told it will be ready on Thursday. I explain I can't collect as I'm housebound. They reply with earliest delivery is Monday!!! Utterly incompetent. Didn't listen to what I said, Insisted the prescription I knew had been sent over hadn't been received, then decided it had been received and that they'd had a phone call to confirm it was being sent by email earlier in the day, then decided that they couldn't access it and that they'd need to speak to the person who issued it at a service that was now closed (but wouldn't have been closed had they not messed about in the first place). Was then informed that prescriptions can't legally be sent by email anyway despite them having just told me that they'd given the service who issued the prescription the email address to send the prescription to themselves.

I've been collecting my repeat prescription from this pharmacy for many years and it's always been great. However, something has changed - staffing, management? and it's now appalling. The wait time is ridiculous. A few months ago I waited 45 minutes to be served and was alarmed to see hundreds of prescription packages all over the floor - literally filling the floor space. It was always busy but it was organised - it is now unbelievably disorganised. The constant chatter of some staff is loud, unprofessional in content, continuous and unchecked by the pharmacist, who was definitely not in control. This is such a rapid deterioration in standard from good to appalling that I find it hard to believe the cause cannot be fathomed and remedied. Such a shame after so many years of good service to the Tramways surgeries.
