I started coming here after moving up to Sheffield so have my routine eye tests covered. Today was my second visit (i have 2 yearly eye checks) and my first time having to bring my baby along!! I didn't need to worry though as Victoria and her receptionist (i should have got her name because she was brilliant) were great. My baby was looked after by the receptionist who was lovely and was not bothered at all by having her to keep an eye on. Victoria was lovely and happy for me to pop and check on my daughter if needed (there was no need :) ) and as my first visit my eye test was lovely and smooth with Victoria being kind and approachable.This will be remaining my opticians whilst I'm in Sheffield :)

I can definitely recommend this optician. My eye test this afternoon was carried out in a friendly and efficient manner. Victoria also spent some time patiently talking me through the pros and cons of cataract surgery.

I have been a customer for many years now & wouldn?t go anywhere else. I had both my sight & contact lens check today, Victoria is friendly, thorough & professional whilst always treating you as an individual. Always a cup of coffee & a chat too. Great advice on glasses, styles & suitability. An all round fantastic experience topped off with Victoria rushing my new glasses through so I get them for my upcoming trip

I have been going to Victoria Smith for some time now. You couldn't find a better optician. You always get friendly and professional service from Victoria and all her staff. Great range of glasses to choose from. Helpful advice when choosing glasses with no pressure to buy any particular brand. Just got some new prescription sunglasses and reading glasses.

I always used to go a certain high street opticians for my eye tests but this time I wanted to try somewhere different.My husband has been going to Victoria J Smith in Millhouses Sheffield for years and had always spoke highly of them.Well; I was blown away by my experience!Both Victoria and her staff were so friendly and of the highest professional standard.I went in because I was getting slight headaches and eye strain plus was due my 2 yearly eye test.They use all the state of the art equipment and machines; I was able to see the high tech imagery used to check everything was okay both behind and within my eyes.They then both helped me choose glasses (which I always find hard to do on my own) and I am so happy with them. They are Micheal Kors and they are gorgeous!If you don?t mind paying slightly more you really do pay for what you get here!Highly recommend!Then when I went back to collect my glasses see the picture below for my gifts!

Annual eye test, carried out with the friendly professionalism I've come to expect from Victoria. She is consistently thorough, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I wouldn't trust my eye tests to anyone else now.

I saw Victoria for my annual routine eye test. As ever, she was brilliant - friendly and chatty, and the consummate professional. She was thorough and professional throughout, while managing to make a mundane procedure enjoyable. Even the dreaded puff in the eye was bearable! Well done.
