We are a grieving family who decided to rent to house out of our late mother. Myself and my sister went into store and asked for the cheapest carpet for 2 bedrooms including underlay. We were served by someone called Umsey and he told us it was £740 for the two rooms and some Lino for the kitchen. The lino we had chosen was 1m x 1.7m and cost us £60 on its own. We are grieving and didn?t think much of it, apart from it seemed expensive for a carpet at £7.99 a square meter. When we got home I showed my husband what we had paid he couldn?t believe how expensive it was and went up to the shop himself. He saw someone different but after saying it sounded expensive the man in the shop refunded him £60. I didn?t release prices were different for who served you? Or who went into the shop. Very disappointed by this and will not use the shop again. Would strongly not recommend.

Was led to believe we paid in full only to have been told we didn't pay the fitting costs. AvoidUpdate: Also found out that there was a hidden charge of £135 for using their fitters (ontop of the £630 fitting costs that we were originally told was paid to the fitters by united carpets). Even if you're getting a free fitting offer there is hidden charges upon hidden charges!

When we visited we need someone to come out and measure up for us. The guy said no we don't do that you do it yourself. I would have happily purchased a carpet from there but the carpet place further down came out and measured up and brought me some samples out so we went with them instead.I didn't find them helpful
