My husband visited the store around 19:40 tonight to purchase door hinges. He checked the store stock online before going in, which showed 20+ items available. However, upon arrival, he was shocked by the rude, unfriendly, and racist attitude of a staff member. Eventually, he was told that there were no hinges in stock. I plan to call Toolstation's head office first thing tomorrow to follow up on this unacceptable situation. Deeply disappointed with Toolstation.

Received a message to say my order was ready for collection, upon arriving at the store I was told that part of my order was missing (which leaves me unable to so the work so the rest of the order is sort of pointless now) When I asked why they couldn?t have messaged to say part of the order is unavailable I was told they can?t do that. They had a more expensive product in stock that could have replaced it, I asked for a discount to match the amount of the missing items, refused. Not acceptable, I?m a tradesperson working to a quote and with time deadlines. Absolutely useless, makes me look bad in front of the customer now that I?m turning up late to a job, without the right products I quoted for, and I?m making less profit today now. Very unhelpful staff, no effort made at any point.

Propper gone down hill this place ever since of covid ie no drink no atmosphere and gloves only stock 5 pairs lol seriously ha ha every time I go in only got 1 pairs Attercliffe ect have another 2 pairs like got time to go there for 2 pairs come on tooly sort it out get grip of you once wonderful shop

Went to get DeWalt offer that had been advertised on website with free drill offer but because I was unable to buy online I had to go to shop this morning. Something that has been advertised and mysteriously taken down from public viewing has angered me. Being disabled this was an offer I was willing to purchase but there website would not add the combination.

Incorrect order was received from the Sheffield branch on Rutland Road - the wood preservative was totally wrong (wrong manufacturer and colour!). Went back to the store and they were apologetic and replaced the item. Despite my being frustrated by the mistake, the person who served me saved the day by being polite and apologising, which can be a hard thing to do if you work dealing with customers all day long, and he was still on top of his game even at 7.45pm. Hats off to him. :-)
