Massive, huge kudos to Brooke and the team for completely turning this place around in such a short amount of time. After a bad experience here a few years ago, we completely wrote it off and said we would never return.
We saw the 'bottom red' which has been our family local for all our lives was under new management and thought we would give it a second chance.
WOW! The atmosphere was amazing, the food was delicious and the events they have going on there are so well varied, there is something for absolutely everyone from people who love a boogie to pensioners looking for an afternoon out and some company.
Hats off to you Brooke! What an achievement ??

This is a lovely local pub and serving really good pub food. Unfortunately our experienced was not as good as when we have visited previously largely because of an exceptionally slow service, despite having 8 waiting staff working. I suspect that more resource is needed in the kitchen rather than front of house maybe.

What an amazing pub. Visited as the pub has new owners and the changes are fabulous. The food was amazing staff very friendly and helpful. Enormous portions and perfectly cooked. Will certainly recommend to friends and family and will visit again soon

We visited here on Monday for lunch and I cannot fault anything about our time here. All the staff were amazing and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The food was excellent and superbly presented. I would like to say a huge thank you to Gaz (I hope i've remembered that correctly) who was wonderful with my son, who struggles with certain environments & food etc. He literally went out of his way to make sure my son was happy with how his food was presented and make sure he was okay. I don't think i've ever experienced that before in a restaurant and it was sincerely appreciated & meant such a lot. My neice loved the candle etc for her birthday too, which was very kind of you. A lovely atmosphere made all the more special by the exceptional staff. Thank you so much. Will definitely be visiting again.
