Lovely staff and normal Wetherspoons atmosphere. Unfortunately this is the first Wetherspoons that have not allowed me to remove the high carb bread, beans, hash browns etc and replace them with an extra sausage. They did allow an egg, mushrooms (but didn't actually provide the extra - I couldn't be bothered to remind them and the staff were lovely and have enough to do).

Laid back atmosphere. Can go dressed up or in pj's noone pays attention.
Also that loud my 9month old could whack his toys on table, have a moan and noone was bothered if anything super friendly

Went in on a Wednesday afternoon for a drink during the summer holidays. Place was very busy as there was bingo being played which was a first for me in a wetherspoons. Seemed to be many regulars inside and out in the small beer garden/terrace. Great service when ordering with the app. We were there around an hour during which someone came round twice clearing tables which is something other wetherspoons could learn from. Only downside was as it was a hot day the doors were open to the smoking area which made where we were sat meant you sometimes got a whiff of something a bit stronger. Some tables had been reserved so we struggled to find anywhere to sit at first. Can't comment on food but what we saw it looked as good as any other venue.

Just had a quick lunch here. Doubled my burger, excellent decision. Most importantly the young lady working the upstairs bar and bringing out food and drinks orders is an absolute delight. 10/10, no notes for her fantastic attutude.

The Bankers Draft is exactly what you'd expect.
It's not great, not awful, just a classic Spoons. Standard cheap booze and food, and of course the toilets are a journey and a half to get to, pretty much at the centre of the earth.
On the upside, it does have an outdoor courtyard area. This is right next to a fantastic rock bar, which is a plus.
Overall, it's just a Spoons. You know what you're getting.

It's a spoons!.. Food is the same as other spoons, and pricing is good. loads of seating although the tables on quite a few times are quite sticky! They have ditched those really annoying sauce sachets and replaced them with proper quality sauses, but please check the underside of the lids before using. I used a tartar sauce bottle then halfway through noticed mould on a pile of congealed sauce on the underside of the lid. ?.. I highlighted it to the staff member not to complain ( although it would have been warranted). she casually dismissed it. ? so worth a check yourself!

Waited nearly 15 minutes for drinks on both occasions for when we ordered on the app. No apology or anything from the staff. Absolutely abysmal service.
