It had everything I wanted from it, but the two drawbacks for me are:
1. Lack of staff - I was there on a Sunday lunchtime, I'd a train to catch to the other side of the country and time was of the essence. I went to self-scan, but there was nobody even on the manned tills to help! Had to grab someone who was putting milk out to get me a bag!
2. Location - I was recommended it as it was on my way from where I was based for my stay in Sheffield, to the station. Not an easy find. Sainsbury, although across the road is a much easier shop. This to me seems too tucked away and not in an area I'd venture down in the winter months late afternoon or after dark.

Was the first time for me to come to this store, when I firstly entered the store to buy some goods I had on my list, this security guard came all the way from where he was sitting on his chair to be literally 1 feet behind me stalking me everywhere I go, he kept following me and I asked him why he's doing that since he is making me so uncomfortable, but he didn't answer. So I put down my shopping basket and left the store without buying anything because of him.
Very horrible experience... this is not the right way to do your job!

i shop at this tesco on a near daily basis as it is the most local shop near my student accommodation. Not once have I ever stolen or attempted to steal from tesco, however the security guard follows me and my boyfriend or me and and my friend around every time we come in. On multiple occasions, he will stand almost on top of me whilst I am paying! It?s disgusting scare tactics, it?s intimidating and I don?t feel I have the rights to shop comfortably here. Tonight (June 24th 2023) at around 10 pm me and my partner came in so I could get a meal deal for my dinner - as we do almost daily. Immediately after entering the store, he accused my boyfriend of bringing and drinking alcohol in the store. He was carrying a can of prime (energy drink) which i thought was well known around the UK now. When my partner said he wasn?t drinking alcohol the security guard didn?t bother to apologise and instead continued to stare at me. I left immediately without buying my meal, as I am sick of being intimidated every time I come to this store!! Sort it out tesco you know exactly which security guard is doing this as he has a plethora of awful reviews written about him!

I have been using this Tesco for years, but I don't think I can go back in there anymore. For the past 6 or so months, almost every time I go in, the security guard makes a point of following me around the shop, watching my every move and standing really close to me. As well as being autistic, I suffer from severe anxiety and am not always inherently aware of other people's intentions (whether positive or negative), so I am always made to feel very confused, uncomfortable and anxious when I shop here. When I left the store today (after he watched me pay for every item I had), he stood outside of the shop door and stared me down the street! Please be mindful of shopping here if you also suffer with anxiety or are vulnerable!

Popped in for some ibuprofen 30/10/23 didn't have the one I wanted I asked a worker (Dan I believe) and he was a great help and found the product I was after! Don't usually give reviews but felt I had to. It's rare to get customer service like that these days. Thanks!

Very convenient store with it being super close to the train station, popped in a few days ago for a meal deal while waiting for my connecting train and was served by a lovely girl with blonde hair. Will be coming back whenever I?m in Sheffield again :)

The security guard was not welcoming when he saw me. I was not feel welcomed. And I bought meal deal with sushi salmon and he was quiet observing me seeing what I did. Just not feel so comfortable. And I paid it at the cashier she was so pretty, Iike her make up and eye lashes, I can see she put on effort for her job and she gave me a fork when I asked it. It was 3.95 pounds if you are not a member, go install the app so you can get it cheaper for only 3.45 for main meal, snack and drink.

Every time I enter this store I am made to feel uncomfortable and find myself rushing to finish my shopping due to being followed and stared at by the security guard, simply because I am carrying a bag. If I'm not mistaken the job of a security guard is to keep everyone safe, yet as a young woman I feel threatened and watched whenever I am in here. I was once stopped at the door and intimidated because I was carrying luggage due to having commuted from home and I was accused of stealing. I work at another tesco branch and I told the security guard this, as well as why I had a bag, yet the following and staring continues every time I enter the store. I am not the only one who constantly has unpleasant experiences. It needs to be sorted out.
