“You can find amazing deals here. I definitely recommend you check it on a regular basis. It is a little grocery store but has tons of things you might be looking for inside.”

“I’ve been going here with my grandad for around a year now, the prices are extremely good like 2/3 of the price of anywhere else. The till service is amazing, they’re always ready to talk to you and greet you, and when i’m not there my grandad talks about how they always help him pack his shopping for nothing extra, julie who normally serves us is especially very welcoming and always seems to be happy to serve :)”

“It’s really good but the reason i gave 4 stars was because mu daughter was sitting on the packing area and a worker came and said to her don't sit on it please and the was another boy but the worker just looked at him then walked of”

“Plagued by excessive begging (2024), I used to spend over £300 a month but probably half that now. Begger cursing folk that don't give and even those that do. Aldi do bod all about it. Veg can be a bit hit and miss. Staff friendly. Car park can get busy, park on side road instead. Meat good. Halloween stuff is a plastic knightmare. Shame on Aldi.”

Thank you Iceland you have kept me going through lockdown & thank you to your awesome staff & helpful kind delivery drivers.”

“I went to Aldi just for a change and to see I'm not missing any money saving items. The fruit and veg was more appealing than Asda and Lidl.
It not all about price for me when it comes to fruit and veg, I'm a big fruit eater so Aldi has a big thumbs up.”

“I go in there on a regular basis and there is a young man at the checkout wearing glasses who is really friendly and polite and he has them old fashioned values that is sadly lacking in many places today he is a top guy”

“Very helpful staff and a great place to stock up on my frozen veg and joints for Christmas. I'm getting them now because they go quickly when customers know they're in stock. It's convenient being in Hillsborough all on one level and plenty of free parking.”

“Great store. So much to look at thing is always spend too much. They have everything from cotton wool to chips, from Christmas decorations to mince pies and from hand soaps to alcohol. Staff quite friendly and helpful”

“Great local convenience store/supermarket. They stock pretty much everything you could want at short notice. Prices are good and often cheaper than the large supermarkets.”

“I went looking for the Iceland vegetable lasagne which seems to be unavailable at other outlets and a friend had said that I would get some there. I did get 4 and was pleased about that but disappointed I couldn't get a few more as we love them. Also I would have liked home delivery but they don't do it there. Other than that the staff were very helpful and friendly and the freezers well stocked with everything else.”

“I got a friend who lives in the local area and anytime we go to this store for the size it is there’s almost everything there so it’s the perfect corner shop especially that they close late for that midnight snack?. The staff all there are very friendly and welcoming especially zwayne one of the kindest people I’ve met. Doesn’t treat you as a customer more as a friend you can tell he is admired by other customers due to how outgoing and respectful he is. Just shows how good this coop is even before you step in. Would recommend anyone to come here.”

“Went in for few bits and when i put some alcohol on the till the server Denise was quite blunt and a little rude when she asked for my Id. Im not bothered being asked as i do look younger than i am but she made me feel uncomfortable when looking at it and me. She didn’t use any manners and seemed like she didn't want to be there and seemed the same with other customers. Maybe it was just a bad day but to be rude to a customer doesn't excuse taking it out on others.”

“Pallets everywhere staff hate people being there but prices are good ... fight the staff save moneyAlso car park is abit smallNew layout new fridges staff abit better”

“Decent shop, normally beats prices of bigger supermarkets, cannot be counted on to constantly stock the same items though, usually missing labels in store, and the vegetarian freezer is a joke - frozen vegetables shouldn't be in there - vegetarian meals should be.”

4.2Good31 Reviews

“Been in for essentials but should be 2 in 2 out or something like that as it was packed and no 2 metre rule whilst walking round the shop. Apart from that shop staff friendly and very helpful”

“Our favourite shop but please can you add a bread slicer. Whenever we travel abroad, the Lidl shops there have bread slicers, I'm not sure why the ones in the UK don't.”

“This Lidl in Darnell has easy parking and convenient to main roads. Store is spacious as most Lidl’s generally are! Bakery was well stocked and a wide variety of baked goods from bread to cakes! Store was busy but well stocked in fridge and all round store in general. Only negative was the baskets on way in are absolutely disgusting with all sorts caked in them! Other than that good store plenty of choice and good value!!”

“I’ve got a hidden disability which sometimes kicks when lifting. I purchased quite a bit from here then realised how heavy the basket was at checkout. So I asked if the security guard would help me to the car. Well what a gent he is. Went above n beyond. Even helping me at the checkout. It’s these little things what matter to me. I’ll keep using this place as I feel that I don’t have to struggle by myself in Heron. Just ask and they will help. That’s golden.”

“I visited Sheffield in August for a week, coinciding with the 2022 heatwave. Although the hotel breakfast was excellent, I decided to have breakfast out of the hotel some days for a change. I had breakfast at M&S two days running, and it was a joy - poached eggs on sourdough toast, freshly squeezed orange juice, and a pot of breakfast tea with oat milk. The service was friendly, polite, and quick, and the restaurant is large, airy, roomy, clean, and has extensive window views along Fargate. It saddens me to see what has happened to Sheffield's city centre - gone are most of the department stores and designer shops (Meadowhall outside of Sheffield has become the shopping hub), therefore leaving Sheffield looking like an unwanted guest at a funeral. I dread to think what will happen to M&S if visitors to the city and Sheffield residents don't use it! Please keep supporting this wonderful store, for, without it, Sheffield city centre will lose its prime jewel in its somewhat depleted crown.”

“Always a pleasure to shop here
Prices are higher than elsewhere quality is not the reason, same branded items 10% more

Thank you!”

“This was my regular shopping place when I lived at Middlewood. It's in a good location: close to Leppings Lane and the tram station. Their bakery section has recently been expanded, which is good to see because I like cakes.”
