Massive plaudits to the new chef Tom ? his dishes were nothing short of stunning, both visually and in flavour. Each plate was a work of art and an absolute delight to eat. His 21st-century take on ham and chips was simply to die for, while my partner couldn?t stop raving about her cod for the rest of the evening.
The Silversmiths Supper Club experience comes highly recommended by us. For the quality of food and service, you'd be hard-pressed to find better value. A truly wonderful way to spend a Wednesday night.

Booked a table 25th Jan for 5.30 and deposit £30 paid 7 days prior. Arrived at 5.15 thinking a drink and look at the menu. Entrance door was locked when we arrived, after a few mins the door was unlocked and middle age male informed us, his staff where tired and on a break so come back 'later'. The door was then slammed in our faces and locked. CHARMING. It was cold and windy so went upto Browns, where the atmosphere was welcoming, the staff, although busy, service was good. Meal very nice. My advice if your going to Silversmiths, don,t go early, don,t go late, in fact let the staff have an even longer break, don,t go at all. Oh and to add insult to injury they kept the £30 deposit, flagged up as a no show which is,nt really correct is it.

We booked Silversmiths for my daughter?s Hen Party. The bottomless brunch was amazing from start to finish . The staff were really friendly , attentive and professional the food was lovely. The cocktails and drinks were exceptional and plentiful would definitely recommend. We will be back , thank you

My husband and I absolutely love Silversmiths, it is our favourite place to go in Sheffield. The food is always delicious and we love that the menu is interesting and changes regularly.
The staff are always friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. We have been going for years and never had anything less than an amazing experience.

Silver Smiths Restaurant made for a fantastic choice for date night with my partner. From the moment we stepped in, I was captivated by the dark, moody décor which created an intimate and inviting atmosphere. The presentation of the food was beautifully done, with creative flavour pairings that I truly enjoyed. Each dish was well thought out and delicious, making me eager to return and explore more of the menu.
While I appreciated the cocktail I ordered, I found it a bit too sweet for my taste. Additionally, sipping through the straw was tricky as pieces of the crushed fruit kept blocking it. However, this was a minor issue and more of a personal preference than anything.
The cleanliness of the restaurant was impeccable, and the staff were incredibly warm, professional, and attentive, which made the entire experience feel special. Overall, I had a lovely time and will definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommended!

Visited for the pre theatre menu. The food was absolutely gorgeous and the staff were friendly and attentive. Very good value for money too.

My family and I enjoyed an excellent meal here to celebrate my daughters graduation in July. We had a lovely evening, the food was very good with some interesting options (never encountered deep fried mince pie before but it was amazing!) and the service first rate. Will be sure to visit again next time we're in the fine city of Sheffield !

Really below average food. Waitress looked put out when pressing whether we had anything to say about it and I said it was just really average. Id wanted to come for some time because of the rave reviews but I can?t believe they?re all genuine after that. They did call ahead and say they don?t have two of the four meats available.. completely fine I was having beef anyway which they had. On arrival no cauliflower cheese (assuming it?s store bought?) and no discount for it missing. I was so disappointed by the food that when the bill came I didn?t even argue the missing food, what difference could it have made to frozen potatoes, poorly cooked beef (overdone), and batter mix Yorkshire puddings. The nicest thing on my plate and the only saving grace was a lovely carrot! I never eat puddings but I needed one today. That was ok but obviously a tray bake. I cook well, I expect for a restaurant to at least match my own cooking. Was really looking forward to it and would usually give at least twice before making my mind up but with food like that I wouldn?t return unless it was free and I?d have to be at a loose end even then. Nice place (decorated) really poor food, very overpriced, do not recommend. Oh forgot to add, VAT is additional when the bill comes too!
