Called in at the weekend, first time in probably 20 years since moving and it was an absolute pleasure. Still as helpful, courteous, friendly and professional as I remember and the great reviews state. All at great value. Really glad I made the trip across Sheffield, well worth it.

Needed a bespoke bit of skirting board. They were able to make it as requested at a very reasonable price. Very pleased especially given that I contacted multiple local carpenters with no success.

As usual, Richardsons went above and beyond today. Nothing is too much trouble for their Staff, which is why I use them as first call, despite other hardware chains being nearer.For, I think the first time ever, they didn't have exactly what I needed today, but rather than sell me a (lot) more expensive workaround, they recommended a nearby supplier where I did get what I needed.And THAT, is why I'll be back at Richardsons next time!

Very friendly hardware store and wood shop, has nearly everything you need at a good price. Had wood cut to size for a project I am working on.
