Horrible post office. Grumpy staff, barely muster the energy for a hello. It?s says it?s open from 8.30 but they don?t open until 9. Avoid at all costs if you can

The serve is so impolite, maybe there is something different between culture, but the man with strange and confusing English accent has his own language problem and refuses to let the customers understood, how could these workers still have this work?

served by a lovely lady here. helped me with everything I needed to do with printing a shipping label off and then giving me some tape so I could then actually get it onto my parcel

Posted a couple items today, helpful staff, quite considering the time of day. Handy little post office.

Never had any problems be it doing banking of posting. Can be very busy at times but they do their best to whizz through customers. Always pleasant always polite

I use this post office regularly to send items all across the world and although it can be busy at times I have always been more than happy with the service.

The people complaining in the reviews are the rude ones, not the staff! I went in with loads of parcels and the lady was lovely but she whizzed through them very efficiently because there's always a queue, they just don't have time to make small talk sometimes cause they're BUSY

My experience was horrible. We travelled an hour and a half to Sheffield to pick up important immigration documents, and when we arrived at the post office, it was locked and dark. Apparently no one thought to post online that the branch had been shut to relocate. We werenâ??t able to collect the documents, and the woman who was inside was very rude when explaining the branch was closed. All in all, terrible handling of their relocation. They should probably think about posting that they are closed somewhere online so that people donâ??t travel there.

Staff are extremely rude and Blunt in how they speak to customers, may be a cultural difference but all the same, you need to be polite and nice in customer facing jobs, especially when said job is in the middle of a huge city center.

One of two Post Office's in Sheffield city centre (S1 region), this branch is a Post Office which is also part of small newsagents on Norfolk Street. It has many of the regular functions you'd expect to find from a Post Office, but in terms of how it goes about offering them, this truly is abysmal and does not follow regular stands I have experienced in other Post Office locations throughout England and Wales. I came in, hoping to post one box which was partially pre-paid with stamps, I went the first counter I saw which was part of the newsagents as it had a sign saying you could post items from that counter, after approaching the sign, reading it and unpacking my bag and waiting for the guy at the counter (He seemed to be reading or doing a crossword of some sorts), he told me he could not help me. Why? I understand they have specific areas of the store but to be redirected somewhere else when he allowed me to wait, get my parcel out of my bag, read the sign which said you can post items from that counter, it was pretty abysmal. I then had to queue up (it took longer because the queue extended while I was waiting to be served at what I thought was the right counter), the guy working seemed really unfriendly and didn't even speak to me, I had no idea what he was doing, the counters were also pretty awkward and narrow meaning it would be easy to drop a parcel because of the gap, and one of the counters was in some sort of awful, claustrophobic booth which got in the way. I had to ask for a proof of postage, and how he was sending the item, he didn't even give me the option he just said "I've done it the second class", luckily I didn't mind but I mentioned I'd have to pay postage and he just processed everything without telling me. The small selection of beverages and envelopes were over-priced. You wouldn't even expect a Post Office in a small town which is barely used to function this poorly, let alone one of the two locations in the big South Yorkshire city of Sheffield, from a confusing layout to dreadful service, I won't be using this Post Office branch again and it surely deserves a single one-star rating.

City centre post office still open!! Foreign currency also here, ATM and street postbox which visitors may use more comfortably.

The staff was rude. I didnt understand what he said. He repeated the same thing 4 or 5 times without an explanation. Then, l understood he talked about the fee. But that fee was for only first class post. I wanted to send it with the tracking number. Then he changed the service. Firstly, ask us how we want to send. Secondly, if we dont understand give a brief explanation for international people rather than repeating the same thing again and again.

They do not use the measuring tools for your post so you get charged for a parcel at £2.95 when it should be a 79p large letter stamp. Complained 3 times and they still do it, but deny it. Also make you queue for ages if you need anything scanning on your phone as only have one scanning device.

Speedy and helpful service, would recommend however not to go on pension day as there can be quite a wait unfortunately.
