Pizza was good as always but the mac and cheese was lacking in flavour - considering the price. Service was good though a bit manic at the start due to the busy lunchtime.

Review of Pizza Express, Meadowhall Oasis
I don?t usually write reviews, but after this experience, I feel compelled. We recently visited Pizza Express at Meadowhall Oasis, and it was, quite frankly, disappointing.
The pizza itself was a disaster. The base was undercooked and doughy, and there was hardly any cheese on it ? shocking considering this is the bare minimum you'd expect from a pizza. I understand that eating pizza out isn?t supposed to be fine dining, but getting the basics wrong, like cooking the base properly and putting enough cheese on, is unacceptable.
To make matters worse, the service was not the best, which added to an already unpleasant experience.
This visit has left such a bad impression that we will never be returning to this location again. For a chain that is supposed to pride itself on quality, this was a complete letdown. Save your money and go elsewhere!

Came for last night at 9 o?clock, firstly was stood at the door stand waiting to be seated for ages, then I watched what I believe to be a manager approach a waitress to tell her we was waiting to be seated, where she clearly made a remark and rolled her eyes and head back which obviously set the experience off to an awful start. We was then served by the same waitress who had blonde hair and big eyelashes didn?t even get her name. She had a terrible attitude, was rude and didn?t give a shit really. She gave us an unwelcoming start and just an overall terrible service. She lingered around our table just waiting for the moment we put our cutlery down to snatch our plates and make us rush. I didn?t even want to be sat there she made us that uncomfortable, there was only two of us so we would?ve been in and out anyways. I?m a Senior chef at a well known extremely busy restaurant who has also worked FOH so to get this was shocking! I would never recommended going here! I understand you closed at 10 but that whole performance from your waitress was disgusting!!!!

My daughter (10) has been tonight with extended family she is additional needs and food is extremely tricky for her, she doesn't eat pizza but will eat garlic bread however there wasn't a big sized one available on the menu but when asked they made her one, no fuss no huffing not being made out to be causing extra work for the staff nothing just plain and simple made the garlic bread. I will be bringing my children again personally.

Expensive as hell, 17/18 pounds for a pizza the thickness of a sheet of paper. They are homemade and were very good, but the fact that they are so thin seems like an insult to me. One of the two pizzas was a little more cooked than the other and the dough was crunchy/hard, so you ended up with pain in your temples from the effort of chewing. The other one was soft.

The food was great however, the service both times I have been to this pizza express has been dreadful. If you don?t mind sitting around for hours on end waiting on food or to pay your bill this is the place for you.
