Even though I did not get a chance to stop by here, I had the opportunity to meet with the owner.Such a nice individual and I appreciate you welcoming me into Albuquerque, NM for the time that I was there recently.I am sure that if his character is that impeccable, so is the food. The reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars...is because they ONLY ACCEPT CASH.

Why did you change the cake slice size! it became half of what was before! And above of that you increased the price!

I know times are tough but all the cake slices have shrunk â?¹? looked like they have all been cut in half. Hope when they sort things out they get back to doing the cakes of old.

I bought pre-paid gift vouchers for family and friends to enjoy afternoon tea. Yes, really enjoyable to be turned away stating that management were no longer honouring vouchers. I have since had a full apology from corporate head office and they have made amends I therefore have altered my review accordingly.

I wouldnâ??t even give this store one star if it was possible. I visited the store with my husband to order some gateauâ??s and was treated with absolute disrespect by a waitress named Elena. She seemed to be in a mad mood and treated us with such aggression for absolutely no reason. I felt so humiliated and canâ??t help but think that this was racially motivated.

Dropped in for lunch whilst shopping in town; the cafe wasn't overly busy and service was attentive. The menu has the usual lunch type items, I went for a toasted BLT which arrived reasonably quickly and was well presented and very tasty.

My kids love eating here. Service can be slow, but usually because itâ??s very busy! We went this evening though and it was fairly quiet and the food came quickly. The service was exceptional with a lovely lady waitress. Past couple of times weâ??ve been the cake has been dry and it was the same again tonight. Weâ??ll be going again though.

It has a very lovely ambience. The waffle was a little dear but tasted very nice. And the profiterole was not as soft as we would have liked. But overall, very good. We would recommend.

Basically I would like to complain about the customer service they have here by one particular woman. We ordered a pot of tea, which the price on the menu is specified per pot. When the woman serves the food and tea we ask politely for another cup as you normally do when one pot of tea serves 4 cups and there are only two of you , who canâ??t drink 4 cups each with food.... instead of just smiling and bringing a cup, she has to be difficult and state in a rude voice (no smile) â??pot serves one person/is for one personâ??. I reply, ok, but we would like another cup please. Legally, she was actually wrong, but I didnâ??t want to be rude or have an argumenattitude. Whatever is specified in writing on the menu, is what it is. And it didnâ??t say price per cup. If they would like to change that that is up to the place itself. Anyways she repeated herself as if we didnâ??t understand (strangely speaking to my mum and treating her as if she canâ??t understand her, and I donâ??t want to make assumptions but it did feel like she thought she couldnâ??t understand because she had a foreign accent.... which is just unnecessary but I could be wrong) before finally going and getting another cup. The fact she brought one implied that clearly there was no hard set rule we couldnâ??t have another cup. This woman needs to get fired, there are so many better people suited for the job, she clearly isnâ??t made for customer service. Customers should be treated with respect. She clearly is capable of smiling as I saw her smile to a coworker. But, your coworker isnâ??t the one paying money for your service. On a good note though, the two men (one of them being foreign as I could tell from his accent) were absolutely lovely, helpful and smiley! So they definitely deserve a raise or promotion:) maybe this woman can learn something from them - but I honestly Iâ??m definitely not buying anything if I see her working there still...

Took my Goddaughter for afternoon tea as a very kind friend gave me a voucher they couldn't use. Tasty sandwiches but they are very small - was glad of the mini quiche and 2 scones (one cheese, one fruit) each. Tasty hot chocolate (good when you're with young people who don't drink tea yet). My God daughter enjoyed a few of the cakes - the fruity mousse one was my favourite!

Itâ??s nice and a bit fancy kind of place. The staff need to be more friendly & smiley, but the food is absolutely yummy. The teatime sandwiches and deserts are absolutely yummy. The hot chocolate is absolutely bad you must not try it. However you will forget yourself there itâ??s a very nice place well decorated. And the deserts at the window will catch your eye when you pass by so try one ð??

Not bad for coffee and cakes, very good breakfast. Incredibly slow service, definitely not a good idea to bring small children who simply don't understand why they have to wait. I visited with my two year old on a quiet morning, everything was good he loved his cake then I tried everything to catch the waitress's attention to pay bill, eventually walked up to stand and wait at counter, waitress still "couldn't" see us, looked very relaxed walking around while my son tried his best to drag me out shop... never visited again after that day.

When I visited for some reason I half expected bailiffs to walk in and shut the place down! There was an 'atmosphere'.
That said ... they didn't ... and I enjoyed a very, very nice eggs benedict and a pot of tea for £8 served by a very nice (albeit distracted) attentive waitress. I awarded just 2 stars because of the bizarre feeling that I got whilst sitting in .. never experienced that anywhere else.
Other diners tucked in to the all day breakfast which looked ample and well presented - service was just quick enough to give you chance to get comfy and read a bit of news from the complementary newspapers which included 'The Times'.
