Visited this branch of New Look in Meadowhall to look for some white sandals I had seen online . Could only see my size in black but tried them on for size in order to get them online . Loved the black ones too . Louise offered to help me order the white ones there and then which she did and I also bought the black ones ( reduced in price ? ) . Happy shopping experience

I very rarely shop in New Look,but I was very impressed with the customer service I received today on my visit to the meadowhall branch
The fitting room assistant dealt efficiently with my query and Ruby on the checkout was very helpful being very courteous, friendly and dealt with my purchase queries extremely well

I have been recently twice and not to be a Karen but the staff were not brilliant.
The first experience: we went to pay and the machine went blank, meaning we had no idea whether we had paid or not. This is not the fault of the employees but we then had to change some leggings as they were badly stained and had to go through a whole refund process which seemed a little unnecessary.
The second experience: went to buy a cardigan that had a reduced sticker, got to the till and was charged full price. I questioned this and even though LEGALLY they should have sold it to me at the discount price, insisted it was full price and was a mistake of the staff. I didn?t buy the cardigan in the end.
The staff seem to be undertrained which is a shame because most of them probably are just trying to get through life. But, this needs to be sorted out as issues keep happening too often and is becoming an issue to customers. Management need to train their staff more (maybe even treat them better?) to get a better customer experience.

Great place to shop plent of space well set out bright colours good selection of clothes and sizes something for kids always worth a look real hidden gems great staff parking obviously free

Wanted to return something but as it was on sale my only option was to exchange. I searched the shop twice for something but there was nothing I wanted (and the one thing I did like online wasn?t in store) so I politely asked if I could have a credit note to which the staff member rudely responded no. I had also just witnessed her be rude to another customer before me. You only have 28 days to exchange so now I?m stuck with an item I don?t want. I?ve worked in various retail stores myself and this is the most outrageous returns policy I?ve come across and the staff could do with working on their customer service skills.

Lots of stock with a good variation of clothing for both men and women. Added bonus of a home department with a few differnt bits like, bedding, candels etc to browse through.

Item had a tag saying £40 when got to the till they then tried to change me £75 even though the tag said 40 member of staff rude and offered no apology walked out and went to h&m with much friendlier staff
