I attended NationWide Building Society
Sheffield City centre. 16-18 Barberspool street. Sheffield S1 1EQ.
Date: 21st August 2025.
Time:12.49pm. To deposit a Cheque.
As i was standing at the desk counter.
An Asian/Indian female Staff member approached and behaved in an UnProfessional and Strange manner by Whispering into the ears of Staff behind the desk counter as they were serving Customers.
Attention Senior Managers: That member of Staffs bad manners should be corrected. They need better Training in treating Customers with Respect. Or they should use their Whispering Skills in other Employment. ?

Was given incorrect information by staff about my switch deadline which resulted in me losing money.

I came in with a really complicated problem around ID and legal names etc. Luke at the door passed me onto the desk where a lovely woman (I cannot remember her name but she had ginger hair and an amethyst engagement ring) had the most patience for my problem and helped me to the point of my switch application being approved. Luke then chatted with me whilst I kept my phone from dying - they are such lovely people I cannot recommend this branch more. Also side mention of Millie who was the senior member of staff on the branch floor she was so kind and patient with helping not only myself but everyone who walked through the door.

Walked in nationwide today to open my first account ?? and had good customer service from @Laura and @Luke! What a service they offered I felt l have been a customer in nationwide for a long time? keep up that good job ? A big thank you to the team ?Also not forgetting the other team members I don't remember their name I guess @simon and another lady who gave me support when @luke and @ Laura were busy doing their good job with the other customers while I was filling in the details ? Thank you nationwide for being so kind today and looking forward to banking with you

I came in to this branch yesterday and although I don?t visit very often, the experience I had from walking in the door was extremely positive and everything went very smoothly. Great to talk to Victoria Spooner (and not an online chat bot!) who was warm, knowledgeable and very helpful - thank you!

I went today to transfer my current account due to the £175 bribe being offered by Nationwide....The discussion took 90 mins and obviously the proof of the pudding will be how I find my new current account when the transfer tskes place....
However I was impressed with the guy who explained everything to me, by the name of Jacob Marsden...
He was friendly and very professional - a credit to The Nationwide....I would suggest a pay rise for him - well done!

The systems are always slow everytime I go. Doesn't open until 10am on a Wednesday!! I wouldn't bother opening. Also no option to deposit money via post office, if you loose your bank card there is no way of accessing cash unless you visit branch unlike other banking companies there are alternative methods at cash machines. Could be a lot better.

Dont know the ladies name ( saturday staff) but really really helpful! Needed help and advice on credit card and natwest and barclay's would not help me or just listen to me when i went into there branches, i only wanted advice as my first credit card. The lady welcomed me in and listened to me and helped me from start to finish. very much appreciated, Thankyou so much for your help. ?

Luke went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met. Very polite and understanding individual.
