Food and clothes areas are ok, in money exchange the staff is unhelpful and doesnt want ppl will go there for service.

The kind man guided me through the cyber-attacked dearth of stock as the store was just opening so I could leave with an emergency tuxedo outfit needed for the same day. Cheers!

Went to M&S after work to buy some Euros it was 5.00pm
Even though there was a female member of staff on duty she refused to serve me cos apparently they were closed, The store closes at 6
I asked what time do you open tomorrow and the reply was 8.30 or 9.00
I repeated 8.30 or 9.00 ?? she didn?t know ????????????really ???? 8.30 I can do 900 I can?t cos I?m working
She then went on to tell me I didn?t have to buy my travel money at M&S I could apparently walk down the moor to Sainsbury?s
Why would I want to do that when I work just a few doors away ????
Tell you what M&S I might just do what your member of staff suggested and go elsewhere ?

This is a good size Marks and Spencer?s on Fargate, Sheffield so not far from the railway station, tram and bus routes.
I didn?t go in to the Food Hall today, although I have on previous visits , as I was making a specific purchase in the clothes section.
This branch has a good selection of sizes and colours in most items; all very clean and tidy too.
Staff very friendly, helpful and professional.
Edit 2025: Bisited the cafe for a much needed cuppa. Lovely, quality crockery, great staff and very clean.

I had a really bad experience buying jeans. I was given the wrong advice and the jeans are too small for me. A waste of my time and money. I wouldn?t recommend M&S for customer service.

Went to the cafe and ordered a toasted sandwich. It was brought over to me complete in brown paper back! Is this Marks & Spencer practice? Never been presented with this before anywhere!
