“Popped over from Barnsley today for a specific cigar (Father’s Day present) which was shown as available and in stock but couldn’t be found in the humidor. When asked, staff members spent the next fifteen to twenty minutes determinedly trying to find said items in order to avoid disappointment all the while chatting about stock. Brilliant service, very knowledgable and overall lovely people. It’s why I’ll happily make the trip. Thank you again.”
“I visited Sheffield in August for a week, coinciding with the 2022 heatwave. Although the hotel breakfast was excellent, I decided to have breakfast out of the hotel some days for a change. I had breakfast at M&S two days running, and it was a joy - poached eggs on sourdough toast, freshly squeezed orange juice, and a pot of breakfast tea with oat milk. The service was friendly, polite, and quick, and the restaurant is large, airy, roomy, clean, and has extensive window views along Fargate. It saddens me to see what has happened to Sheffield's city centre - gone are most of the department stores and designer shops (Meadowhall outside of Sheffield has become the shopping hub), therefore leaving Sheffield looking like an unwanted guest at a funeral. I dread to think what will happen to M&S if visitors to the city and Sheffield residents don't use it! Please keep supporting this wonderful store, for, without it, Sheffield city centre will lose its prime jewel in its somewhat depleted crown.”

“Lovely friendly staff, can't praise them enough, very chatty and get to know and remember you. Good choice of stock though lacking in fresh produce (fruits and veg) . Excellent selection of beer and wine. The aisles are very narrow, difficult to get round with a pushchair”

“This place has a huge selection of wines to choose from as well as beer, whisky and gin.It is nicely set out by country so you can find wines you like. Prices are reasonable and you get discounts if you get over six bottles.The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful and have a small section of wines you can taste. In all, a very good shop”
