Overall it was great for our group situation as we wanted to live as a group of flatmates and the whole process was super straightforward and the administration work for it was fairly helpful as well as the team attended to us with any questions.
Overall the spaces are great like the study spaces and cinema room as there was also somewhere for our study sessions and chill bonding moments as a flat.
There was a situation where the door handle of the washing room snapped off and I got stuck in there. Thank God I had my phone with me to contact my flatmate which she helped me out. How the maintenance dealt with it was to turn it as a push and pull door for a few months the door handle was wrapped in masking tape. Eventually it got swapped for a normal pull door handle.
Another door incident for our kitchen door got stuck and so maintenance swapped it for a new door handle quite promptly which I?m grateful for.

I had a very good experience. I especially enjoyed the facilities - I would use the study space and cinema room with my friends all the time. The location is very convenient, very close to University and Division Street.

A friendly place to stay in the city centre. I've really enjoyed my stay here so much that I have rebooked for the next academic year. I look forward to returning after the break.

This is amazing place for students with the best receptionists. It is quiet friendly atmosphere and had most amazing amenities like private dinings movie rooms and study areas. I would love to stay here if they can offer a accommodation for non students ??

My stay at Devonshire Courtyard has been fabulous, and it?s get like a home from home, so much that I?ve booked again for the next academic year!
Nick and Rachael are very friendly and helpful, after a hard day at university it is good to have friendly faces as you walk back to the building. Any problems they listen with an understanding nature, and give good advice and help rectify the issues quickly. The events that they put are on are varying and exciting, a fab opportunity to treat yourself during our busy schedules!
The en-suite rooms are spacious and equipped with everything you need to make your room homely. The kitchens have a good sized fridge freezer with plenty of cupboard space, making it ideal for self-catering and also socialising with flatmates. The place is also so affordable and you can pay your rent in line with your Student Finance payments, so you don?t have to worry about rent when you don?t have the money, which has been reassuring!
The facilities are also excellent, with open and private study spaces to facilitate your needs. The bookable kitchen space is great to bring friends over and to socialise. The gym is full with everything you need for a varied and exciting workout, which is great being free to use.
The location is also such a bonus, being so close to both unis, whilst being in the heart of Sheffield city centre. It is great having all of the shops and facilities that the city centre has to offer, everything is on your doorstop. You have the convenience of the city life without being disturbed by the noise! It?s also very close to bus and tram stops, so you can easily get across Sheffield.
I would recommend Devonshire Courtyard to anyone at either the University of Sheffield or Sheffield Hallam. It?s been that good I have rebooked, and I look forward to next year.
