Will not be returning to this store which was my go to while in Meadhowall, female staff member Alfie i think her name was, very Rude, disrespectful and just is not suitable for these jobs with customers.

I?m new to the area, I also struggling with huge Social Anxiety. However, I found the service from the Meadowhall store to be extremely welcoming. I was unsure about what product to purchase, I asked a Staff member and they were really polite and understanding. I believe their name was Alfie. They made me feel really welcome and comfortable. I also left with a great product as well. Absolutely recommend this store, as the help and support was great. Definitely recommend. Also hats off to the staff member for accommodating and patience for mental health.

I will no longer shop in the Meadowhall Holland and Barrett store anymore. Instead I will go to the one in city centre town. All the staff are great except ONE woman. Shes very rude, patronising and gobby. She?s short, round frame, chubby built with glasses. Has funky style hair with funky colours sometimes. At the time she had green short hair with green glass round glasses. Alfie was her name I think by looking at the receipt. Avoid if she?s in store. Her facial expressions are negative. I won?t go into detail however people and the staff will agree what she?s like. It?s happened more than once to me where she came across unprofessional.

The product selection was OK and found what I wanted. Unfortunately, the young lady (long wavy hair) on the till spoke to me in a very patronising manner. Calling me ?love? too many times in a very patronising manner (e.g. have ?we? got a H&B card love?). I?m from Sheffield and so of course know that it?s perfectly normal and friendly for local people in Sheffield to call customers ?love? in shops etc but overdoing it with a generally very patronising manner is not warm and friendly, it?s unprofessional and rude. This will be my last visit to H&B. If you don?t want to put people off using your shop, please train your staff to be professional and respectful to all customers.

I was surprised and concerned to see a female member of staff fondling the hair of another female staff member as the latter squatted down at a display area with the former standing behind her. They were attending to a customer while I waited. ?

Visited Meadowhall branch on Friday afternoon to ask for advice & price up products to aid peri menopause symptoms.
ALFIE was amazing!...He knew exactly what i was interested in & why,which would be best,which could be used alongside other products & which would be best value for money...AND pointed out on a label of something im already taking(not prrscription),something my Gp had missed entirely & why with my family history it maybe wasnt a great idea to be taking so to check again with Gp.He didnt push me to buy anything,just gave me indepth hreat advice,even wrote things down fo me so i could go grab a coffee & think about it.
I later went back & bought 2 of the recomended products,but unfortunatly i couldnt see him(maybe on a break)...Anyway ALFIE is a credit to the Meadowhall store,a credit to Holland & Barratt and is the reason il most certainley be shopping there from now on..

Turned up at meadowhall branch supposed to open at 9 am . Called them and was told it was temporarily closed ( no sign saying this) and check back tomorrow!

Me and my husband nipped in a couple of weeks ago and were served by a lovely guy with groovy glasses (can't remember his name) but he was so friendly and put us in a good mood for the rest of the day. Always great customer service at these stores, cheers!
