“The guys in this store really helped us just now - I work in retail and know how frustrating it is when people turn up just before closing, but we're moving house and haven't stopped all day, so we only noticed an item we needed to get about 20 minutes before Screwfix closed, and we were 19 minutes away.Thankfully we were served despite being so last minute. Only Carracks can mix the 'Green Paint' for 'Bells Box's stipulated by the National Trust/ Peak Park Planning board for our Scout Group. “On Sunday 21/01/2024 I visited B and Q on Queens Road in an attempt to purchase a replacement shower hose. I was stuck and asked for help as by this point I had worked our that in removing my hose I had also removed a nut which was now stuck! A guy called Richard took my old hose off me went to the tool station and removed it for me. I wouldn't have been able to do this as it was stuck fast. Richard went above and beyond to be helpful and this kindness made such difference to my day and I was able to have a shower! , thank you so much.”

“Appliance World were so helpful when our old integrated fridge freezer broke suddenly. They were recommended to us by a local fridge repair person and we're really glad that we were told about them. We didn't have a clue how to organise a replacement as our kitchen appliances were all integrated when we moved in to the house. Appliance World explained everything to us, took down all the details about what we required and contacted us later that day when they had found something that met our requirements. They also arranged for the new fridge freezer to be fitted and the old one to be taken away.We would definitely use them again if we needed to replace any other appliances or we were redoing our kitchen.”
