“Gravity Fitness is wonderful!I've been coming here for 4 years now and it's become one of my favourite things during the week. The difference it has made to not only my physical health but my mental health is amazing.I started in 2019 after coming through a period of anxiety, determined to try push myself out of my comfort zone. I had no previous experience of aerial hoop, no upper body strength and went not knowing anyone but I was made to feel so welcome from the very get go.It's the most supportive fitness place I've ever been to! There's no judgement going on, we all become each others cheerleaders and celebrate achieving our goals, whether they are small or large. I've made friends through Gravity and genuinely look forward to seeing them in and out of classes. All the instructors are lovely, knowledgable and know how to challenge us with new moves and flows but are never pushy or make us do moves we're not capable of. They all know how to properly spot too and make sure we're executing moves correctly to avoid injury.Lizzie puts on a showcase every year which everyone is welcome to join in with if they want to. There's also the opportunity to attend fun workshops too like 'bring your partner/friend' (a very funny class to attend).I really could not recommend Gravity Fitness more if you're looking to get into aerial hoop or pole fitness. It's the most fun way to keep fit and the community Lizzie has built just lovely!”

“This is easily the cleanest gym I have ever set foot in. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Its never too busy and there is always equipment available to use. Membership is more expensive than other local competitors, but it's well worth the extra cost. Shout out to Horace, hes a top guy and made me feel welcome from the moment I joined.”

“I pay £46 per month to go with my daughter and my baby to the pool and since my daughter is not home educated and she's in the school they don't let me in with the baby and her because it's a one-to-one ratioafter 3pm (they never told me when I joined in, she's 7 and knows how to swim. So we've been paying for a full year and only been able to enter twice when they were not watching. Using our wristbands. I don't like to lie and say she's 8 and in the end it's the only thing I have left because I have a contract and I can't stop it but I am wasting my money and time every time I go and they say I can't enter”

“Very friendly gym. I went quite early so not many people around. All equipment I needed was available. There was, however, a strong toilet odour by the assisted dip machine on the cardio floor a d I ended up not using it because it was just too strong. Also the showers could have done with a clean. Overall, I enjoyed the experience.”

“Visited NHS physio...Good facilities, parking manageable, appointment on time. Physio was fantastic...approachable, knowledgeable, listened throughout and I left feeling I was cared for and had exercises to do before next appointment. Well done NHS.”

“I was placed here on a referral from the NHS. The staff are very friendly and helpful in trying to achieve your goals. They go above and beyond. The equipment is all functional and up to date. For the money, the gym is not, however, worth it, which prevents it from being given 5 stars”

“Clean and always open. Equipment is all high standard - apart from the rowing machines, which seem cursed no matter what happens (but there are more than enough that will never actually be a problem). Friendly staff and a productive atmosphere. Classes are friendly and well led. A lovely place to get sweaty.”

“Virgin active is a superior gym/spa/sports facilities concentrated in one gigantic beautifully designed building with convenient subscriptions.Their Achilles hill is their staff and regulations. The staff are not clear about their tasks list and managers are supposing their job to be people pleasers and done!I have made a complaint out of anger today after two months of waiting and trusting for obvious faults to be fixed and behaviours to be bettered and apologies to be made.It is not about me. I already love the place.I’ll update you folks with the results.”
