I turned to Peter Byrom in desperation with both ears severely blocked with wax and suffering from tinnitus after a nasty ear infection. My local surgery were offering an ear syringing appointment four weeks after I had seen them. I was struggling to hear anything at all, feeling very disorientated and struggling to sleep. I managed to get an appointment with PB Audiology within 24 hours. Twenty minutes of efficient, professional care by Nicole Vasey, my hearing was restored, the tinnitus and horrid echo in my head was gone. So grateful.

So happy to have found this service three years ago. My hearing improved dramatically after the first waxing. You can see before and after on screen and the booking system is very easy online. Thornbury Hospital is very welcoming and helpful.

I am a very nervous person and I was worried about any treatment to remove earwax because I suffer with tinnitus and I have been suffering with a deafness in one ear, Peter explained what the treatment involved and put me completely at ease. Very professional, efficient and friendly, cannot recommend Peter enough.

I was suffering from very muffled hearing in my right ear and phoned my doctors to book an appointment to get my ears syringed only to be told because of covid, they weren't doing anything for another six weeks at least. I researched a private option and found Pete who practices out of Thornbury Hospital. Got booked straight in for an appointment and was delighted with the result and the cost was very reasonable considering I went private. I will now be going to see Pete on an annual basis. Highly recommended.
