Great priced room in the middle of nowhere but survive station on the side so food wasn't a problem, but you are paying extra for it . Saying that the "Good breakfast" wasn't bad value for money and freshly cooked. As for the rooms they was clean and beds where great after a long days travel but the shower was wonderful good pressure and a never ending supply of hot water.

Is every hotel at the days inn full off disgruntled guests these days? Its probably fair to say that most of the days inns had it coming especially sheffield the manger is a right horrible man Basil Fawlty eat your heart out.AN ELECTRIFYINGLY BAD EXPERIENCEWell, being rocked by a electrical charge isn?t great news unless you?re Frankenstein?s Monster. But this was a real as i got shocked by the bedside ligh switch.Predictably awful comments included a slum and disgusting beyond belief while safety concerns included fire alarms blocked off with beer mats and trailing wires across doorway. with famously decrepit, cramped rooms. Bits of this building will literally come away in your hands, leaving you clutching a shard of sharpened wood or metalThe bathroom itself resembled a dirty cupboard deisgned by the inventor of Tetris- everything was jammed in at bizarre angles to make it fit. One would need to be a most practiced contortionist to use the sink or the shower. Guests next door fighting and blood stained carpet are not a great start, but human teeth found on floor is an entirely different level of wrong, completely unreasonable customer attitude, and the exterior rese a building from Chernobyl. We were settling down to sleep and we could hear a ruffle when we sat up and moved the pillow, there was a huge rat or mouse IN THE BED WITH US.Is this a hotel or a nursing home, Damp in the room, Smell of moth balls? windows rotten, Cracked tiles, wallpaper peeling and itchy blankets.looks like asbestos in the ceiling as it resembled an 80s office building. The property in question is not a place you be willing to stay at.RUDE to a fault the staff are towards there customers and overpricing are just the start. A Mentally ill woman walks around the hall ways screaming and rambling at any time of night? isn?t a great endorsement.Other guests continue with everything you can think of, and quite a lot you couldn?t make up, from no sheets on the bed two drunk men approached us at reception, roaches in the drawers and so many sights of people drinking/ vomiting/ fighting in and around the hotel. I've seen better places on homes under the hammer avoid

We went here with my 7 year old. We were told they were booked up for a family room and therefore booked a double room as we were told they could provide a pull out cot / bed. We parked in a disabled bay while we were getting our bags into the hotel. I settled my little boy for bed and got ready myself. Then there was a knock at the door and i opened it to find a rather intimidating man who asked us to move the car or it would be towed away. My son got very upset and was scared as the man spoke in a very abrupt manner and was threatening. My partner and i suffer from anxiety and depression. My partner has a service dog and we were both treated like rats. The receptionist was extremely rude and all of the staff. To cut a long story short they asked us to leave and refused to issue a refund. We didnt want anymore upset caused to my son so we left and as a result had to spend the night asleep in the car. I would NOT recommend this very unfriendly hotel to anyone. Staff very obnoxious, rude and not accommodating at all. To top it off, room dirty, dirty mattress and bathroom not been cleaned. Avoid at all costs!

A great location and very quiet hotel. Surprised by the standards at the hotel for the price paid. Would definitely stay here again..

Stopped off here on the way up to Newcastle and was pleasantly surprised by how good value for money a Days Inn is!The room had a decent bed and was well stocked with tea and coffee. A little dated in appearance but for £30 for the night, it was excellent!

It was fine as somewhere to rest but don't expect much. TV signal was awful and amenities at the services wasn't great late at night. Comfortable enough room but could've done with an extra scrub. Meh.

The receptionist was nice and polite on entering.Went to the room, and first thing was an old stained carpet went to put the towel heater on and didn't work. The heater worked for a while then went cold during the night.Lacking sockets by the bedThe shower head pipe was all loose and thought it was going to full off.Overallcould do with a refurb and bring it up to date

The rooms spoil it. Ideal location but badly worn. Clean bed and bathroom but broken fittings, sticky furniture and actually worse than a Travelodge. Poor soundproofing - on the booking I requested an "upper floor" got the ground floor with a small herd of bison occupying the room above.

We arrived 10pm and had been travelling all day. No facilities to get food, only garage. Rooms not very clean eg. Foul damp smell floors didn?t look like they?d been hoovered and dust. General grubby feel. Room very dated. Kettle dirty white and plug socket broken. Bed comfy and bedding was clean.left very early staff in morning not helpful directions to breakfast place unclear but tbh wish we hadn?t bothered as it was awful. Food stood in trays looked anaemic. So we left having just got toast. Defo won?t stay in one of these places again.

A very late decision to stay in the area with prices all around higher than normal, except here, which saw my other expenses covered from the accommodation price savings. It doesn't pretend to be 5 star accommodation and is a little tired, but I got a good nights sleep each night so a very restful as well as fun filled break.
