Purchased a tv on the 11/8 (Drake House - Sheffield) set it up on the 20/08 after cancer treatment at Weston Park, Sheffield. The tv as no power. Advised 4 colleagues about the issue none of which made notes and offered a call back in a number of days. Knowing I can?t travel at the moment refused a new delivery. Stay away from them.

Had to go looking for staff to assist me, when I did get some assistance seemed completely distracted and not really bothered. The product I wanted was not in stock at Drakehouse but was in other stores. When I advised I didn't want to travel across the other side of Sheffield the assistant just walked away ?

I had an absolutely terrible experience during my recent visit to Currys, and I feel compelled to share it so others are aware. The staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful, especially one individual named Kay. From the moment I entered the store, I felt unwelcome and dismissed. I approached Kay with a simple question about a product, but instead of receiving assistance, I was met with a condescending attitude and eye rolls. There was no attempt at providing support or even basic courtesy.
What shocked me the most was how little regard the staff had for customer service. It felt like I was inconveniencing them just by being there. I?ve never been treated with such disrespect in a retail setting before. I tried to explain my concerns calmly, but they were completely brushed off. No apology, no effort to resolve the issue?just more rudeness.
This experience has completely changed how I view the Currys brand. I?ve shopped here in the past, but after this incident, I can confidently say I won?t be returning. It?s incredibly disappointing to see a well-known franchise operate with such poor standards and employ staff who clearly have no interest in helping customers. A company is only as good as the people it hires, and this was a complete failure on all fronts.
I genuinely hope Currys takes this kind of feedback seriously and re-evaluates how it trains its staff, especially those dealing directly with customers. Until significant changes are made, I would advise others to take their business elsewhere. This was an unacceptable experience, and I won?t be giving them another chance.

Visited the store to look at ordering a new TV. Absolutely appalling staff, all smoking outside blowing smoke in customer faces, other staff just all huddles together laughing about what they were up to etc. asked for guidance for a TV bracket, Man was very abnoxious and very loud cockney, didn't have any idea what he was talking about. Immediately left after feeling very uncomfortable.

Ordered online evening before. Microwave and watch waiting to collect the following day already at the counter ready. Lady that served me was very speedy and friendly also carried the items out to my car. Positive experience & brilliant on price as both items purchased were at least £20 less each than everywhere else. Panasonic microwave for 80 quid and a Huawei smartwatch for 60 quid!! absolutely chuffed thank you

Called into the store around 7pm to discuss getting a refund for our faulty dishwasher with our uplift number and getting a new one. The staff were all sat around on stairs could not be bothered to acknowledge we had even walked into the store and then the man who we spoke to was incredibly rude and told us that we would have to bring the dishwasher in ourselves and they don't do refunds and we won't be on their records and went on explaining about money laundering. He literally spoke to us like he couldn't care and wanted us out of the store was not willing to help at all. To be told we had to bring in our faulty appliance ourselves was absolutely outrageous! Safe to say we then travelled to the meadowhall retail park branch and the lovely gentlemen was more than happy to help us and we've managed to get a replacement and someone is going to collect our faulty appliance.
We will never be returning to the drakehouse branch even though it is our closest store to us. The staff are so rude and to be told false information I think they also need training on their customer service and how to actually help as we left the drakehouse store so unhappy. Thank goodness the wonderful Ben in meadowhall retail park bent over backwards to help us at 7.30pm in the evening and he could see how distressed we was and nothing was too much trouble for him
