Dined outside. Paid £65 for what can only be described as a takeaway experience. We were not told when ordering food would be served in takeaway containers and disposable cutlery. Food was average. Not dog friendly. Disappointing experience. Wont be returning.

Called here for the first time on 10 April. Best pub food I've eaten in ages and good value too. We chose the small plates from the menu and they were very ample. Service was brilliant. Would highly recommend this place.

Was so hungry and excited to eat that I didn?t get any pictures. But, this food was one of the best meals I ever had. We both ordered a small portion but it was absolutely substantial and almost more than enough to fill us up. My grandma had the small portion of the liver and I had the small steak pie and it was the best steak pie i have ever had!! The pastry was just enough to compliment the meat and the steak was perfectly cooked, so moist the gravy wasn?t even necessary. However, the gravy still tasted perfect! Dont get me started on the perfect chips, crispy on the outside and smooth on the inside. Never had such a great meal.

My son and daughter -in-law took both Mums out for lunch for Mothers day. A nice selection of food on the menu. The service was good, a very pleasant Friday lunchtime.
