“After suffering for nearly 5 years and being left aneamic for 3 yrs I asked GP to email me my blood results. Turns out not only am I aneamic still and GP told me I don't need tablets, but I'm folate deficient as well. The lovely man at boots read my results for me and told me I need to be on folic acid and prescribed me 200mg ferrous sulphate. He could have saved my life really cos many times I have felt like palpitations are so bad my heart is going to cave in and collapse. All because my drs surgery didn't inform me I was deficient and left me to get worse for years. Thank you to the lovely man at boots - you might have just saved my life by putting me on the right medication. Who would have thought boots were more competent than my own GP?
