went there stuck in a queue for around 10 minuets to sell my games which they didn't even let me sell despite online on there website saying at 16 your aloud to sell for cash and they wouldn't take my birth certificate as id because it was a photo on my phone despite being allowed by another worker to sell my games a few weeks before without my id , absolutely horrendous .

Unfortunately the waiting times are absolutely ridiculous. Visited the store yesterday to buy a steelbook and waited over 15 minutes to be served. There were approximately 6 members of staff behind the counter when I joined the queue and the store wasn?t busy. Now I understand that staff members are assigned different tasks throughout the day and aren?t all serving on tills but the customer service was horrendous. One member of staff just kept staring at me while I was waiting and didn?t say anything while two others clocked off and completely left the store. Absolutely no reassurance surrounding the wait times was given, not once did an employee say ?I?ll be with you in a second? or ?sorry about the wait? when I got to the till. Was eventually served by a lovely lady who was floating between the ?buy? and ?sell? tills but by then the wait had infuriated me. I know my experience was shared as the customer in front of me sighed and left, as did several other customers behind me. I don?t usually complain at all but this experience has really disappointed me ?

Good to grab the odd second hand PS 3 game but good grief the service is slow. A day of training with Aldi staff may be a good idea.

This happened a few months ago when I was down there. I had brought a DS game from them but it took ages to be served even though there was plenty of staff around, no one wanted to make eye contact and a queue was forming. Finally it was my turn to get served and they handed me the game, only for it to be the wrong one (glad I checked it my self). As soon as I went back to the till, got completely ignored until they finished serving two other people at a snails pace. Finally demanded a refund as they clearly did not have it and even admitted they did their inventory wrong. Disgraceful service and wouldn?t be coming back to this CEX store again.

Spent £180 on a second hand phone.Had issues from day one with it. They tested it and said it was faulty and exchanged it. Why not test it before selling ? Spent £10 in the invisible seal and it was bubbly and looked a mess, pealing off. First time and last time buying second hand

This has been my favourite store for over 15 years. I love trading items, using vouchers, and buying what I like. I usually visit the store about three times a week, and even if I?m not buying anything, I enjoy browsing their products.
However, recently, they broke my trust and completely changed my opinion about shopping there. I?ve written about six emails regarding my issue, but nothing has been resolved.
Here?s the situation: I bought an Orange Alpine band for the Apple Watch Ultra online for £20. I was really excited to receive it, but when it arrived, the band wasn?t original and had a defect it didn?t slide like my Orange Ocean band does. I returned it and requested either the genuine item or a refund.
Instead, they emailed me saying they were going to send the band back to me because it wasn?t the item they had sent. I was shocked, as I returned exactly what came in the box. My girlfriend was with me when I opened it, so I have no reason to lie. Essentially, I was being accused of stealing.
I?m growing man, I purchased the Apple Watch Ultra from them for £330 why would I benefit from swapping a £20 strap? It doesn?t make sense.
I realize now I was wrong to get so attached to this store. I thought it was a safe haven that brought me joy through trading, but I was mistaken. This is my final message and my last visit to the store.
I do not recommend buying from them online to anyone.

Had an issue with my phone and they replaced it for me in store with no hassle - and even refunded the difference in price. The customer service was excellent, friendly and professional.

I bought a laptop from them, not fit to run Linux, so I bought another from them and asked for a refund for the first, they wouldn't give me a cash refund only vouchers, even though I already bought the other laptop. Manager was very rude with me and offered no help or advice on what to do.
I now have to return the new laptop, and buy it again with the vouchers

Bunch of weirdos. Had me waiting around for 4 hours so they could test a PSP(dunno why it took them that long) to then get told that it's loose at the back! Well it worked fine when I was using it mate. Bunch of absolute freaks who waste your time by being fussy about the slitest thing.
