Terrible food, tiny portions

Never eaten here although we keep saying we should, looks amazing from what we've seen. We've typically stopped here to use their delightful outdoor drinking patio. Great cocktails, lovely wine and a decent Guinness.

Friendly staff but food was awful. They didn't have any pastries, the cooked breakfast came and they'd forgotten the eggs, the pancakes were rubbery and stated they came with maple syrup but it was definitely honey. Very odd. Unfortunately didn't have time to reorder or send it back. Would not go again, especially considering the price.

Lovely hidden bar/restaurant just off the roundabout - though connected to the hotel the bar is open to the public and has a variety of cocktails, wine, beers etc. with a few deals at certain times. We had some cocktails and fries and were very happy with the service and price!

For a restaurant that claims to be Michelin standard - this falls far short of their standards. Not surprisingly perhaps in view of poor quality and expense the restaurant was effectively empty just before the Xmas rush. Go elsewhere

Went there for breakfast, and wasn't really impressed. Had a full English and it really wasn't great value. There are many places in the area that are just as nice with better food at a better price. 1 price of bacon (undercooked), 1 sausage (undercooked), 1 egg (overcooked), and 3 teaspoons of beans. The toast was ok. But was about a third more than what you would normally pay at similar places.

I?ll be honest had Aladdin afternoon tea yesterday and for £30 it was terrible/ wasn?t themed at all, the food was so bland/ also £5 for a smallest bottle of Diet Coke
So many better places in Sheffield!

Food was amazing, meat was tender and just right. The wait for this was worth it. No issue at all, with the food, service or the quality.

Last evening we dined at Brocco Kitchen. What a beautiful experience. We are greeted and seated by Christian upon arrival. He introduced Brocco Kitchen ethos and how our dinner would be introduced to us. As we could not decide, Tom, head chef took some time from the kitchen to speak with us about his menu and we were comfortable for him to select each of our plates.Every plate that Tom prepared was well considered, visually stunning, but the flavours were at an even higher level. We started with house baked squid ink bread that was paired with Tom?s Henderson?s relish butter adaptation. If this was our whole meal, we would have been happy. From here, we enjoyed a succession of shared small plates. Scallops started us off, followed by cauliflower, then we enjoyed duck and beef. Each plate was a journey for our mouth and soul. My wife loved her raspberry creme brûlée to round out her dinner. As each plate arrived, Christian made wonderful wine pairing recommendations to complement our meals. All allowing us to soak up the atmosphere, flavours for an immersive experience. If you are looking for a ?cheap and cheerful? dinner, do not visit Brocco Kitchen. Go somewhere else.If you want the best service and food experience in Sheffield, you have to dine at Brocco Kitchen.

Booked a Wonka themed afternoon tea for myself and my 10 year old daughter.Very disappointing experience .A few members of staff behind the counter chatting but we were ignored for a good 5 minutes and left to stand there . Eventually I got the attention of one of them and she showed us to our table , only to find it was still uncleared.Left to stand there again whilst she sorted the table .When we eventually got sat down I noticed several other people coming in and just being left to stand , no one welcoming them or even acknowledging them .The actual afternoon tea didn?t look anything like the advertised photo .Little cup of very thick tasteless soup, mini fish and chips and a small dry sandwich .Had to ask for a clean plate after we?d eaten the savoury items ?who wants to eat cake on a plate used to eat fish ?The cakes were over sweet and covered in icing, bright green scones served with buttercream rather than butter . Lots of sweets dotted around on serving tray .Had to ask for the chocolate eclairs as they had been forgotten .Other customers were having the same issue and repeatedly having to ask for clean plates and missing items .The service was nonexistent and not what is expected from a place considering themselves to offer fine dining .The food didn?t live up to expectations and was poor and the staff need to be taught about good service .

After a decent day experience of brunch at the brocco (good food, very slow service) I gave it another go, what a mistake. After waiting 40 minutes food (we were the only table in there), ?just another 5 minutes? turned into another 15 minutes. When the food appeared the eggs were rock hard and inedible. I was told by the chef, he didn?t want to turn the oven down as he?d got cakes baking. No apology, nothing brought over to appease the matter, will not return.

Big potential but let down by poor service and under seasoned food on very small plates at big prices. I enjoy fine dining, but from the 6 dishes we tried only one stood out, which was the mushroom risotto. It took 30 minutes until we got the menus and were more or krass ignored for the remainder of the evening, until the point where we were given the bill without having even asked for it. Truly disappointing experience.
