Tracey at the perfume counter was so helpful! I wanted to pick out a new perfume and she sprayed me lots of testers she thought I might like, and was so knowledgeable about perfumes. Fantastic customer service!

I visited the Sheffield high street store this morning at 8am to buy an electric toothbrush. I didn?t realise there was so many to choose from and asked a gentleman called Ashley for additional information on a particular toothbrush and heads that would fit. The one that i chose was the last one and he went above and beyond to make sure my purchase was presentable and put in the original box and answered all of my questions in a natural friendly manner which for me is the difference between making my purchase in the store or going elsewhere. Excellent customer service very happy also with my purchase.

At start of July I booked a next available travel-vax appointment for 25th July. A week before the appointment I received an update saying 'thanks for amending your appointment' and a notification that Boots had rescheduled the appointment for 10th August.
Today I was contacted for a second time with a message saying 'thanks for amending your appointment' and received a notifcation advising a new appointment had been scheduled for this coming Friday at 11.30 in the morning. I can't make this due to it being 11.30 on a Friday.
No reason has been given for Boots changing either appointment & no apology offered. Utterly useless - I've lost a month trying to find travel multi-course vaccines I need for September. Don't bother. Go elsewhere.

I shop here regularly for food and toiletries, but I want to give a special mention to the lady on the no 7 counter on 3 June. She was so patient and helpful.

I would like a refund for the nail polish I purchased today. The cashier, whom I did not catch the name of but I think was South Asian, dropped it on the floor but refused to change it as the bottle did not break. Nail polish can have a chemical reaction changing its consistency and quality after being dropped, despite the bottle not breaking. Unacceptable service.

I visit this Boots regularly.
The shop floor staff are lovely.
But the beauty counters staff! They are not nice, sometimes even rude, they can?t be bothered mostly, and they are soo stuck up they think the own the brand they are standing next to!! Customer service on the beauty section is not good, I would go to the Boots in Meadowhall if it was closer to me all the time. Much much better customer service and lovely girls there at beauty counters and it?s even quite busier than this one, but still very lovely staff there.

Extremely rude middle aged/old lady at the Clinique counter.
I had seen the spf 50 foundation advert and I wanted to try it, I tried the tester as it?s next to the window I wanted to see it in a different light, so I went to try it next to the other counter in front of the large mirror on the column, she ran after me saying I need it back and I need the lid back too, I was shocked with the way she treated me, that?s why I just paused and looked at her and then she said I need the lid back too.
I?m a Dr, so I?m sure I won?t need to steal a tester for sure! Maybe cause I was with my baby/pram ?! Or maybe she is just racist ?!? Probably ?
My husband used to be the pharmacist at this boots!!
Then I go over to tell her, you can be nice and ask nicely, there is no need to be rude.
She said I had to ask for it I will not argue with you and I?ll ask you to be removed !!!
Horrendous ?
I?m going to take this up as a formal complaint.
Extremely I?ll mannered and discourteous!

Went to the store looking for makeup recommendations, the blonde, curly-haired makeup counter attendant was just chatting away about some work gossip and doing her makeup, rather than paying attention to a customer that was waiting. Not only that, but she didn't seem to understand what I wanted at all, I had to clarify multiple times, and she barely knew the products that she was recommending and wasn't able to answer many questions. She also recommended a product that she knew they didn't have testers for, and given it was a powder, you'd need testers for it. If you're going to hire people for the makeup counter, make sure they know what they're doing and the products they're recommending. I recommend any other store but this one.

Boots on Fargate in Sheffield city centre. This has the regular boots sections and counters like pharmacy, food & drink, fragrances, make up and all that stuff. You know what to expect from a Boots store so you should be able to pick up what you need.
Decent choice for sandwiches if you are just picking up lunch. There is a mix of stills, self service is fine for me.

No boots
