After noticing the price of a litre of this item, just over £16, I asked a lady if that was correct as I'd seen it priced at £30 2 yards away. The price was correct and as the formation can be seen advantage was taken, obviously doesn't help cut my consumption down but thank you very much for the offer.

Came shopping here before closing today and a member of staff was aggressively throwing around crates, it was so bad people were shouting shut up and a member of staff had to tell him to stop, but he continued to do so. This is completely unacceptable!

Good shopping experience at Asda chapletown

My main problem with asda chapeltown is the rudeness and unhelpfulness. I don't think the slogan on their backs "happy to help "" is even a consideration for them . At self serve they completely ignore customers with a problem at the normal checkout they carry on having private conversation totally ignoring the ever increasing queue. The management team need to seriously implement some customer service training sessions as clearly it needs it

What has happened to my beloved local supermarket?
I've been coming here for years but it's become absolutely unrecognisable. Disgruntled employees who openly complain to one another (and to customers) how much things have 'gone down hill', bare shelves, 'fresh' produce that isn't fit for a compost heap, items like fish and dairy on the shelves that are three days out of date, and staff constantly blocking the aisles with those big metal cages! Today there was a disabled man in an electric wheelchair who simply could not get access to the aisle he needed, due to it being blocked. And don't even get me started on the prices! I buy the same items in the same quantities, every time I visit - and the cost of my WEEKLY shop has risen by £40 since Christmas.
The ONE saving grace of this abominable store is a lovely staff member called Rachael, who is polite, helpful and thoroughly professional. Perhaps they should get her to run the place, as she seems the only person there who understands the concept of good customer service.
Trip hazards and other health and safety violations, rude staff, lack of accessibility for disabled people and inexcusably high prices. If this is the best ASDA can do - I'll make M&S my new local; it's far better quality, not much more expensive and the patrons don't get treated like garbage.

We had a terrible customer service experience today. We went to the pizza counter and looked at the toppings for about 30 seconds before being asked ?are you going to order a pizza or not because there?s someone behind you? with quite a rude tone. I would have understood if we were taking up the whole counter space or had been there for a while but we hadn?t and it was very upsetting to be spoken to this way. I don?t feel like we deserved it at all.

As others have said...
I've shopped here for years due to convenience, giving them the benefit of the doubt that shelves are always empty, particularly fresh fruit/berries, the chaotic nature of shelf stackers and the large amount of stock cages in aisles, but not anymore.
The place is showing no sign of improvement, to a point this evening that the large amount of stockpiles in aisles is becoming an Health and Safety issue.
This place needs to be inspected, and action taken or just shut it down altogether.

This store is the worst store in Sheffield staff are rude there?s always crates blocking shelves empty shelves no stock rotation what?s so ever. Ya ask to speak to a manager all ya get is why and what for not oh I will get him/her. The deliveries on Sundays is shocking I never have one as I prefer to go to stores myself but a neighbour does they call just before 8am on a Sunday slamming van doors constantly and have no respect for residents whatsoever shouting at top of there voice from the van to the customers it?s not on.

I have shopped here every week for years!!!! Not any more. I abandoned my trolley in store for the last time. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. By trying a second time. Nothing on the shelves. It's a joke! Dead fresh herbs on the shelves. You guys need to get your act together. Think about your in store customers rather than the home deliveries. Customer service shocking too. I was in retail management for years. How can the manager not see this? Bye bye!?
