RACIST ACTION. BY EMPLOYEE AND NO APOLOGIE!!
I just poped into this store (QUEENS RD, SHEFFIELD.)
we live near a large Asda who had run out of a eggs ,so decided to pop out late nite, to get some eggs for morning
We went into the store amd proceeded to the aisle, there were other shoppers there and a Asda emplyee stackimg shelfs.
My wife commented to me that , there were a eggs and the ones we wamted
HER MISTAKE WAS TO say it in our secondary language, (punjabi)
as we walked off happy we'd got some eggs and in conversation,
The Asda employee must have lifted the metal step he was stood on and threw it DOWN!! hard on the floor, startling, and even make us run two, three steps in fear, as to what the loud bag was.
After a momment I'd realized what he had done , and said you made us jump mate, thinking this was an accident,
HE JUST STARES at me , DOESN'T SAY A WORD, no sorry no NOTHING
.So i ask WHY did you just do that,
because we spoke a different language.
HE JUST CARRIED ON STAREING, the other shoppers stop in dismay and see his response.
NO APOLOGIE, nevet mind that, NO EXPLANATION as to WHY?
make your own mind up, im not playing any race card,
BUT, to not even replieand jist stare, whats that all about, my wife got a bit upset, i said leave it, dlmt worry, she says she couldn't believe it.
JUST for that EMPLOYEE, you work in an Asda on Queens rd, a PREDOMINATELY ASIAN AREA, WITH SHEFFIELD'S BIGGEST MOSQUE 300YRDS FROM YOU.
AND JUST IN CASE YOU DIDNT KNOW,
GOOGLE WHO THE OWNERS OF ASDA ARE.....YOU MIGHT WANNA RESIGN.

It is a medium size average super market.

Not great. I regularly go in late, the staff are impolite and you aren't trusted to scan your own bag. Treat like a criminal for the price of a bag.
