Having had my vehicle initially botched by another repairer I asked the insurance to pass the work on my vehicle to another repairer.
I was allocated to Alton cars and from initially going down to have the vehicle assessed to collecting my car the service provided was top notch.
I initially went to see Richard to have a quotation made for the insurance. Once repairs were authorised customer services team got in touch with me to book in a repair date and organise a curtesy car.
A few weeks later I dropped of the car and got into my curtesy car which I was very impressed with, a 2025 Skoda Scala in pristine condition.
The repairs took around 2 weeks and I was kept up to date throughout with a call to let me know what was happening and where we were up to. On collection Richard and Tom were yet again professional and friendly.
I?m much happier with the work carried out by Alton cars in the past 2 weeks compared to the work of a previous repairer which took several attempts over the space of several months.
I wouldn?t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Excellent service all the way including customer service as they kept us updated on every stage of progress. There was a slight delay but that was because they wanted to make sure that the vehicle was returned to us in perfect condition which the engineer, Matthew called and explained to us, he was very polite and apologetic for the delay. Their service was above and beyond our expectations. The car was returned looking brand new after the repairs. They even paid for our MOT that was due while the car was being repaired and offered Amazon vouchers to make up for the delay which was a huge BONUS! I would definitely very highly recommend Alton cars for sure. We even went back a week later for a different service! 8813

Special mention for Matthew Davies, Bodyshop Manager at Sheffield who was brilliant throughout the repair process. Explained what was happening with my car and invited me down to see the car and talk through the process. Kept me up to date with the process.
All the staff I have dealt with at Sheffield were great during a long process waiting for parts from Kia.
The quality of the work is outstanding and I am very pleased with the results. 8369

Insurance co was slow to approve repairs but Alton kept me in the picture. I had to chase the broker to nudge the insurers. Ultimately was without the car for quite some time but not Alton?s fault. 7163
