Today I went to the parkgate store and was welcomed by Richard I think his name was at the car seat area, he gave me lots of knowledge about car seats and the safety etc advised me which was the best for my child, he also fitted it in my car so it was all done correctlyI don?t normally leave reviews but he went above and beyond to help me todayThank you so much

What a massive toy shop! I?ve been in other Smyths branches locally, but none are as truly vast as the Rotherham shop.Feeling like a veritable wonderland of toys, the aisles are long and the shelves are stack high with toys of all shapes, sizes, and prices. Though we were only looking for one specific item, we just had to have a wander around and see what other goodies were available in this Aladdin?s cave of toys.With everything from board games, bikes, wooden toys, electronic games, and more, Smyths is the sort of place kids dream of. Though they didn?t have stock of the item we were after, staff were friendly and helpful, telling us when to expect new stock and advising we ?click & collect? for this popular item.

Went in today with my partner for some information regarding car seats, prams and other equipment needed for a new born, we were looked after by Keeley and she was knowledgeable and gave us loads of support and answered all the questions we had, we were made to feel welcome and was given a lot of time. Absolutely fantastic experience and we were made to feel so welcome. Prices were reasonable and we could get absolutely everything we needed, will definitely be returning to this store.

Bought car seat, excellent service by Hannah at Parkgate Rotherham, Hannah explained in detail each car seat explaining how it worked,then took it to car and fitted. Very impressed with her knowledge and service.

I went yesterday to buy bag of sand. I was directed to a place where bags were stored. I looked and said that it looks different to one I always buy; the employee informed that it's the same one, they just changed the packaging. I came home, opened a bag, dried the sand (I needed it dry) and noticed that my hands are covered in glitter and sand leaves weird feeling on hands. The sand I used to buy did not have anything like that. I checked online and it turned out it's totally different brand, it's not the same product. I was lied in a shop. I can't use the sand I got yesterday, so I have to give it to someone and buy the correct one... I am very disappointed with customer service...

Big toy store with lots to pick from for all ages prices arnt to bad, staff didn't seem very happy and not very polite the lady who served us forgot one of the bits of the toy I ordered so have to go and pick it back up also spent £400 on toys and didn't get a bag or anyone to offer to help me carry everything to the car.Only thing that lets this shop down is the staff

Spent 200+ in parkgate store for Xmas my phone had died my partner asked the old woman at the tills that just served us if she knew anywhere we could call a taxi home as we had our 4 year old autistic son with us it was getting late to my surprise she started smirking and laughing at us and talking in her headphones laughing never felt so belittled and humiliated by a old woman this woman should know better we had a child with us absolutely disgusting staff member and needs sacking will be taking this further.
