“Food was ok little bit expensive for what it is burgers had a lovely taste french fries a bit over cooked hot desert pie was microwaved this spoilt it steak was a bit fatty and the chunky chips a bit greasy but nice tasteBut the ladies that served me during my two day visit were amazing think it was Vicky and Jess couldn't do enough to help and friendly good old northern hospitality thank u ladies”

“A good out of the way place with little traffic noise. Staff are very helpful and kind, thry helped us with a taxi service. The electric was out in the beefeater so we were not able to get food unfournately. The TV in our room was a bit fuzzy as the screen was old so could use an update. Bedroom was very clean and extra pillows were provided. You have to make sure you ask the staff to get the cleaner to clean your room...simply hanging the sign outside does not help as we discovered.There is a sainsbury just outside with a cashpoint which is useful as a lot of the taxis only take cash. There is also a really good fish and chip shop right next to it a well. It is near a bus stop as well which goes to Sheffield.”

“I visited the rockingham arms last Tuesday for the first time. I was impressed with the service I received. The waitresses knew the menu like the back of their hands and were polite and friendly when taking our order. The food came out within 15 minutes and was piping hot and tasty delicious too. I also had my dogs with me and the pub is dog friendly which is a bonus and the waitress made sure there was fresh water for them. I will deffo come back and highly recommend.”

“Amazing stay over here compared to the rest over across the roundabout staff couldn't be helpful enough and great all you can eat breakfast in a morning will be staying again if needed big thumbs up from me”
