Went into Halifax, Rotherham branch this morning to open an online banking account. We were assisted by Anna, who was very friendly patient and thorough. She explained everything to us and told us about extras we could get that we didn't know about. Thank you very much Anna.

It's no wonder that this brunch has such a low rating. They wanted to open an account in this bank for my mother. The first employee with whom I had to communicate turned out to be a person with "watchman's syndrome". It seems that he owns the entire bank and can cheat customers early, but, based on my own experience... I will no longer use even ATMs from this bank. I am also very happy to delete the application with the minimum rating and my foot will not step over the threshold of this institution again.

Cannot believe I have just gone into this branch and been asked to give my name and reason for calling. All I wanted to do was use the paying in service at the counter and I was asked to sit and wait to be seen, 6 staff members stood around doing nothing but talk when I asked why we now have to be seated and called to the counter the last I spoke to claimed it was due to people complaining about standing in line waiting to be seen. Certainly closing my account down if this is the way Halifax is going

Tried to make an appointment over the phone for the last three weeks to see an investment manager in Rotherham branch following a bereavement, only to be told by a call centre it will be at least 5 weeks. Do they really care.....I think not. Needless to say, I'm contemplating moving the investments elsewhere. Very poor experience.

None of the cash machines there were working yesterday and had to join a long queue for the counter and only 1 staff member serving. Not good enough!

The service at the bank was excellent today I was struggling to use the app She spent 10 minutes, trying to rectify the problem I had. She was lovely.

Lack of staff in this branch- dissatisfied customers. Waited half hour to be told they can't deal with my request now & they have no more appointments available here this week. Tried to do it myself online but I got a message - unfortunately there is currently a problem with the service. Unfortunately I am now considering moving banks.

This particular branch was so useless and very unhelpful. I wanted to put in some cash, I've never put in coins before except once somewhere else but didn't use a bag. I was told to use a bag without any explanation and when I came back with one, I was rejected altogether instead of even some assistance and the clerk was already stood and leaving the counter before I even had the chance to go. This was the first time ever going in and will be my last. Sticking to my usual bank. Thank you.
