Visited today (16 August 2025) and Matthew was absolutely amazing! He was so kind and so helpful and made me really understand what I was buying and giving me the best options for what I wanted. Such a big help when I was lost and didn't know what to really look for. Thankyou so much! Staff are really nice and knowledgeable and everything is easy to find! Would recommend any day! :)

Been struggling with online orders and over the telephone to buy a tv with creation, went into Parkgate Rotherham branch, some staff need extra training as they couldn?t help because they didn?t know how to resolve my issue, a lovey guy called jack came to the rescue and was so knowledgable and I was able to buy the tv within seconds.

I went in to buy an built in oven . I asked for help from one of the workers they said we'll be with you in a second. Another couple walked in after us and was seen to straight away. I waited and waited but no staff member came to assist. Eventually I left and went instead to B&Q. Reading the reviews it seems currys Parkgate rotherham has a very bad customer service problem .

Shocking experience regarding a £1500 Smeg oven which was a month old that blew up. Fair enough manufacturing mistakes happen but the customer service with this issue was none existent to the point Smeg UK customer services even commented on how poor this service was. After 2 hours in store and many phone calls between Currys and Smeg Currys finally offered an exchange, however I had to do the legwork that the customer service representative should have done behind the counter - the words of the Smeg representative, not my own words.
After finally finding the oven we wanted as a replacement the customer service representative said it was out of stock and to find another, only for the sales woman upstairs (who was helpful) to say there?s 15x in stock. Eventually the customer service representative processed the exchange but could not be bothered to do the 5 year extended warranty again! We had to ask several times for him to do this and he reluctantly did it.
The customer service was none existent and is the worst I?ve ever received.

I today visited Currys at Parkgate Retail Park in Sheffield to purchase a gaming headset for my son, and I have to say the experience was nothing short of appalling. The lack of customer service and general disregard for customers was absolutely disgusting.
When I needed assistance to retrieve the product due to the security tag, I approached a female member of staff to ask for help. Instead of assisting or informing someone to help me, she dismissively stated that ?another staff member? would come over. She made no effort to communicate with anyone and simply left me waiting.
After waiting an unacceptable 15-20 minutes with no assistance, I approached a male staff member who identified himself as the manager. He was wearing a green jacket that said ?store host,? so I had expected him to be professional and helpful. Instead, he told me he would come over with the keys, but he never followed through. Instead, he walked off with another member of staff, completely ignoring my request.
The entire experience showed a complete lack of care for customers. It was clear that the staff had no interest in helping or even acknowledging me as a paying customer. I?ve never experienced such unprofessional and dismissive behavior in a retail store.
It?s disgraceful that a big brand like Currys allows this kind of service to go unchecked. They clearly have no regard for their customers or their time, and I?ll be thinking twice before shopping there again. Absolutely shocking.

Great service and recommendations yesterday from Lynne when we went to buy a laptop - super knowledgeable, not pushy at all, and steered us towards a product for our needs - her help was really appreciated! Lynne was born to advise to people like us who had no idea what we were looking for!
