The worst hotel I've ever stayed in... loads of crackhead wandering the corridors and the carpark. The smell of weed and stale cider was horrible. Breakfast looked like it had been thrown on the table from the other side of the room.Rooms: Old, dated and smelly.Safety: Not sage at all.

Everything is dirty, the toilet's door is broken (frame is distorted), water never stops after flushing, and the shower head is moulded. The rooms are spacious with a huge mirrored wall, with the TV a part of it. The hotel is getting back on its feet after a closure, and you can see it was once a very plush place. The staff are very attentive and help out with all queries that you have.Farjad got me extra pillows and other items that we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Other parts of the hotel are due to open very soon, a gym area and the pool are almost ready to accommodate guests.Safety: The reception is manned at all times, and there are security cameras absolutely everywhere.

I had a recent stay here. I have mixed feelings about this stay. The positives were good clean spacious room, the heating was on point and so was the cleanliness. With basic facility of making a cup of tea or coffee. In terms of other facilities, it was just poor service, there were no toilet paper in the toilets, had to get them from the reception. Except for a basic soap and towel, no other toiletries were provided. So yeah, if you just need to crash for the night for a good nights sleep then may be yes, but if you want a more comfortable stay please consider something else. And staff was good, whatever interaction I had with them, they were kind and sweet.

I'm not sure if this hotel is under new management or going through refurbishment. You can see what they are trying to achieve, but attention to detail needs to be looked at. The bedding and towels were clean and white. Don't bother with the continental breakfast, not worth the money .

Worst hotel ever been.To start with something wrong went with my booking and receptionist couldn't find it, he said my booking date was wrong and he can't help me so I had to pay again.Room wasn't great either, cupboard doors broken and falling out,Hot water comes after 15min only,Some works was going on in corridor so been hearing hammer drill in my wall all evening...3 star is way too generous for this place.

It's very serviceable! Don't expect frills but for what you pay you get a good room, clean, good night's sleep, kind folks at the check-in.

Used to be a brilliant and vibrant hotel with lots going on and brilliant staff throughout.Now we couldn't stay there as we only saw one staff member who was too busy moving a homeless person in ..which was very kind of him..to check us in ... and straight away we noticed the atmosphere was wrong.We eventually got to our room up four flights of stairs as the lift was out of order..to find a musty smell in the room. We pulled back the bed covers to find a badly soiled mattress cover which raised suspicion about the mattress .... this was completely covered in all sorts of stains.So we took pictures and showed the man on reception who was shocked and offered us another room..which we refused .We have since found out the hotel is been used for homeless people who obviously we have empathy for but as a paying guest we feel we should have been made aware at the time of booking to have the option of staying or not. The dining room , bar ect are not functional ... at £68 not acceptable , let's see if we receive a refund??They are in the process of refurbishment and hopefully will return to its former brilliant hotelObviously we cannot give this a rating as it stands at this present time.UPDATE....Not received refund along with many others.... please look closely at reviews before bookingRooms: Not ready or clean

Possibly one of worst hotels I've ever stayed in, whole building is outdated, photos make it appear nicer, key card stopped working, as I was waiting to get into my room another couple had to complain as there room wasn't even made it.Rubbish bin outside overflown and rubbish on the floor.Holes in wall, didn't attempt using the shower as looked filthy.No bar available.Had 2 people try to get into our room as they were told this was there room.Not sure it's the safest.
