Went for unlimited breakfast.Little bemused as to why it is supposed to be unlimited.Had to pre order cooked breakfast when usually at other beefeater it is help yourself. As you had to order it is not really unlimited!Service wasn't very good cooked breakfast was brought through before we had finished our cereal therefore when we came to eat it it was cold.When asked if everything was OK,and they were told the breakfast was unedible because it was cold ,there was no offer of a replacement or offer of reheating it.

On several visits, throughout november only to find the doors closed due to ??? No clue. No notifications given. Others who had booked rooms were sadly let down. What a shambles. Get this place sorted once and for all. Don't know how your staff endure such bad business and working conditions.

This place is like a loony bin. Loudest restaurant I've even been in. Kids screaming and running around, adults yelling at each other. May have been a party from the hotel next door.. Not enough staff by far. Place was heaving with dirty glasses and dirty plates. My Chargrilled chicken was anemic, I think it was grilled under a light bulb. It came with corn, 2 slices the size of a 50p. The 'loaded' nachos were basically a bag of tortillas from the sainsburys next door, covered in melty cheese and a dollop of tinned salsa. Never again

On arrival the gentleman who greeted us was polite friendly but 3 out of 4 meals were overcooked and dry and the we sat for long periods waiting to order and for drinks to come. Have been before pre covid and was really looking forward to this visit for my birthday and while as a family we had a lovely time, I won't be rushing back.

Food was ok little bit expensive for what it is burgers had a lovely taste french fries a bit over cooked hot desert pie was microwaved this spoilt it steak was a bit fatty and the chunky chips a bit greasy but nice tasteBut the ladies that served me during my two day visit were amazing think it was Vicky and Jess couldn't do enough to help and friendly good old northern hospitality thank u ladies

Excellent service throughout and food was amazing. Especially enjoyed the fillet steak. Decor felt tired and need a lick of paint, and toilets would benefit from an upgrade, but still very enjoyable.Parking: Turning off busy main road to shared car park. Not many cars in so easy to park.

Food was disappointing very small portions. Opted for the beef roast. When it came out it was the smallest two slices I've ever seen served in a restaurant. Very few vegetables. Just a very underwhelming experience and I don't think anybody in our party will be visiting again.Service was good and I think your responsible for creating your own atmosphere.
