My experience with Rotherham branch pushy abrupt left deposited in cash so estimated can measure up then couldn't give me my deposite back in cash had to put it back on card an still not received it yet manage telling me has ordered carpet but sales person Tolled me had to pay for it in full before they can order it lol who do I believe

Absolute garbage, would give zero if I could. ScS fitter damaged existing carpets and ScS not bothered. Do not trust ScS carpet fitters. They fitted a new carpet to our stairs and landing and cut up the carpet ON TOP OF AN EXISTING CARPET DAMAGING THE CARPET UNDERNEATH! They admitted cutting up the carpet but ScS have done nothing, saying the dispute is with the fitter. This was an ScS recommended fitter! Do not trust ScS or their fitters. Appalling customer service, shoddy, cash-in-hand, lying fitters.

Can't express how much you should avoid this branch. I would give 0 stars if I could but it doesn't allow it. We received a faulty sofa (manufacturing fault) and was told by customer service at head office that we could select a different sofa if we wanted as a replacement so we went here to try and resolve the issue rather than trekking out to the crystal peaks branch where we bought it from. We walked in and was greeted by a blonde woman asking if we knew what we wanted, I told her the situation and instantly, the mood changed. As if she didn't want anything to do with us, she grabbed what I can assume was her manager to ask but they went away from me in hushed voices which was extremely rude. She then said we could have a look around. We saw one which we liked so we went back downstairs to try and reorder the sofa. The same lady that greeted us turned her back to us and completely ignored us, instead offering coffee to some other customers. Managers and store employees walked straight past us, completely ignoring us leaving us standing there like lemons. We grabbed an elderly lady and asked if we could order the sofa to replace the faulty one and she just laughed at us and just said "I don't know". After this we just walked out absolutely appalled from the service we just received. It is absolutely unacceptable and I will be putting in a formal complaint into head office about this. Staff that are ready to jump on on you when you're buying but want absolutely nothing to do with you when you have a problem which has been resolved by head office and a simple reorder was needed. Absolutely disgusted.

Absolutely hurrendous experience with scs we've been treated so bad we ordered our furniture in December should have delivered in January, finally received on 4 th of march, in mean time scs loaned us a broken table not fit for purpose we phoned Andy Rotherham branch as it was layed on my dining room floor for 3 days ,he never got back to us so my partner had to go to b&q and buy the stuff to fix it as no one was getting back to us, we was told then our furniture would be coming into the store on the 12th march and we would get a delivery a few days after only to receive another email then saying it was going to be the 25th , so I rang to speak to Andy to get palmed off again this situation was very distressing I have a terminally ill brother and my anxiety is really bad and I was looking forward to our new furniture which turned out to just cause me more stress they arranged a delivery date for the 27th I had a day off work and I needed to pay my final balance but need to speak with Andy first so for 8 days in a row I rang him he never returned my call and my delivery got cancelled so I lost a day's pay for nothing, only to have to have a delivery date of the 4th of April booked another day off work and it finally arrived £1700 dining setg so damaged it's beyond belief I have a collection of pictures at this point iv had to go off sick from work as I just can't take anymore,no one cares no one want to know you've took our money and just left us I'm dealing with so much with my brother it's just tipped me over the edge.

I would highly recommend this store. Lynn (Rotherham) was so helpful and guided us every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble. The store itself was clean,tidy and well presented. Thank you for your co operation, I look forward to my new settee. Merry Christmas

I am a returning customer to SCS. We purchased 6 leather reclining sofas 6 years ago from SCS in Leeds. The sofas have been hard wearing and comfortable. We had a problem in the first 12 months with the leather on one sofa, this was eventually rectified to our satisfaction. We have ordered another 3 leather reclining sofas and await delivery. The staff in store allowed us to browse and were happy to walk away when we said we were just looking ...no pushy sales tactics. When we placed the order the salesman did his job well, he had a sense of humour and although he needed to take me through some terms and conditions this was done quickly. I hope are not waiting until october for delivery although this was a quoted delivery time frame. Overall so far so good.

After placing an order for what was meant to be a quality sofa, it's been nothing but a wild goose chase. I am disgusted with the lack of professionalism this service and company provides. Not only was the sofa delayed, twice, - I ordered it in JULY and it's not until November it arrive - I was told the beginning to middle of September by the Shaun the store... when I rang to see where my sofa was, I was told that the dates were not first expected until the end of September where I had already paid for the removal of the first sofa in this saga, just days before they were out of contract they said that it would further be delayed, when I rang again to see where it was after another delay, they say that "4weeks actually means 30 days"... Where in the world it means that I don't know?..Now tied in to have to accept the sofa, paid for a sofa removal and bought another cheap one, which has also had to be paid to be removed. and has drained whatever saving I had, I suffer with my health and saved for a long time to buy this sofa, paying for the it upfront with cash, I expected what I paid for, what I was told I would get... When it arrived, the sofa was missing legs which still haven't arrived almost a month on & my new carpet looks like garbage for it.I was told there was a delay due to foam and that was fine but my sofa isn't a month old and it looks like it's years old & been lived on... It looks quite awful to be honest compared to when it arrived. And YES I have been flipping and plumping cushions - but to be honest at price & age of sofa I shouldn't have to behave like I do with it.I genuinely feel like I've been took for a mug and lied too, all so someone can claimed their sale.I wont be returning here for any more goods & will definitely not be recommending this frankly embarrassing service you provide.If anyone wants a quality sofa, my mam got hers from Sofology almost a decade ago and it look not a year old.

I would give minus starts if I could avoid at all costs. The manager at Rotherham branch is appalling and showed lack of care and understanding and failed to keep customers promise by dealing with the fact that his shop had failed to complete an order correctly and leaving one room completelywithout flooring. Well he's also lost a big order worth thousands through their incompetence. Avoid at all costs and go to United Carpets who have never failed!!

We really appreciated being able to look around without pushy sales assistants pestering. We were able to get assistance easily when we were ready.However this was in September and after having 6 estimated delivery dates and one confirmed delivery date that has now been cancelled I am extremely disappointed angry and upset. All the communication is by text with no explanation . I would not recommend Scs
