Our first visit to this most loveliest
little café set in beautiful grounds with a beautiful lake. We were greeted at the door by a very polite young lady and shown to our table. As you go in there is a fridge full of home-made beautiful cakes. The decor is also very nice and relaxing. There is plenty to choose from on the menu. My friends had beautiful and very filling Club sandwich I had the Ploughman?s platter What consisted of Home-made sausage roll, home-made slaw, & beautiful ham salad it was absolute beautiful I especially enjoyed the pickle. I had a lovely pot of tea My friend had one of the gorgeous hot chocolates She had the Bakewell one We all had the home made cakes. Would most definitely recommend & will be returning.

had lovely food this morning, we all enjoyed our food, even though it was busy it wasnt a problem at all, we werent rushed, poached eggs were cooked to perfection. Thankyou all :) x

Visited this morning with a friend for breakfast, food was gorgeous and the coffee. beautiful location and staff are so lovely and welcoming. Met a wonderful gentleman ( owners father) who I thought was lovely. Obviously I will return to sample cakes and more coffee but also to see the Gentleman again, he made me smile all day.

Lovely location by a fishing pond. Inside and outside seating. We ate the specials which were excellent. Definitely on our ?visit again? list.

Neither my mum nor I had ever been before, so took her Thursday. It was full inside so we sat on the benches outside in the sun. We both ordered quiche & a cup of tea. The quiche was delicious & we both agreed the coleslaw was the best we've ever tasted.
The whole experience was lovely from start to finish; from the lovely welcome we received on our arrival to the service we received. We will definitely go again & highly recommend it.

we went to Dainty Doris's on Thursday..omg the afternoon tea was beautiful..the sandwiches...cakes.. scones..trifles ..pot of homemade soup...and tea.. we are definitely going back..the service from the ladies was fantastic xxx

What a nice experience. Afternoon tea was so lovely and what we couldn?t eat was boxed up to take home. Delicious. Gluten free for one of us, was no problem. Will definitely book again. Summer coming and there?s outside seating too!!
