We ordered the chicken chow mein, beef in black bean sauce & the duck chow mein. The sauce and noodles were really nice but the beef and duck was really fatty and the chicken was like jelly. This put my partner and my brother off their food straight away and couldn't eat it.

House special was a watery greasy slick Not! How it's supposed to be I know I've eaten out in hong kong. and never tasted or felt like that ever even off the street vendors.
Lemon chicken was very very dry! Lemon sauce was very bitter. Mixed starter was also dry more moister in a mummy's big toe.
Called them to tell them and all we were told was is that's how it's supposed to be! Yeah more like yesterday's meals re heated. Never ordering from there ever again.

Just had a takeaway delivered. 2 dishes between 3 of us.. lt was vile. Ordered Chinese chow mein, chicken green peppers etc, chips and fried rice.
The chips were cold and the chicken was terrible, looked insipid, tasted of nothing and the whole meal felt slimey.

Ordered crab soup and got fish stick soup instead even my dog refused to eat it. I'm sure that's breacking the law under trading standards, plus the other food was cold

Wanted to order online as we normally go to Lais so haven?t been to fortune cookie in years. Online ordering great. Delivery driver lovely and so chatty and personable. Food delicious and colourful. Full of flavour. Free drink and crackers for ordering over £30 so well chuffed.

If you are ordering online, beware. They close their ordering online system when they are busy. Saying they are closed until 04:45pm the next day. That time is incorrect as it does not exist.
