Useless. One member of staff on help desk and one member of staff on cashiers desk with an old customer taking years to sort something that could be done over the internet easily. 500 billion in deposits and 2 members of staff on at the only branch in miles. Close your account and run.

Poor staff constantly moaning and pulling you away from till always trying to get you to use machines when you need member of staff pulled out of Q to use machines then 3 people who were behind me in the Q got served before me at the till while i waited to pay money into the bank ended up walking out as the member of staff carried on talking to others about people who had passed away and tryin to include me in the conversation asking me how tall i am. Today not so busy go straight to till to lay large sums again wrapped in bands to pay in waited patiently the woman starts gently hinting our machines might struggle to count this with it being folded i said oo sorry ive had them saved in my pocket she then cones back from machine ill have to hand count it god forbid she do her job then another member of staff cones out to help count 3k and she then tells me in future don't fold them we have to give this money back out. Lazy because the machine cant count you some money must be in wrong job and should learn some manners glad the branch is closing down. Constant issues with staff there not friendly at all she even said to another colleague while serving me i dont mind who goes for the dinner first just make your mind up again rude behaviour i had to tell her shes dropped 3 £20 on floor. Overall ive had numerous negative experiences in the branch. Rude staff, lazy and ignorant.
Also like to add i asked the help corner on advice to open a kids savers account for my twins and told do it online shown the door. Fantastic help as usual.

what a ridiculous thing to do closing mexborough branch on Fridays this is a market day probably the busiest day of the week for mexborough the ques out side was long the weather was very cold one couple had come from wath some one said well there's always Saturday but that's no good when people are there Friday to use your not so good service,this is just another nail in the coffin for mexborough, next stop Halifax will be closing the branch all together I just hope like me most other people that depends on them close there accounts too.

I'm giving this place 5 stars as I've used this branch for years and although you have to wait to be served sometimes the staff are all good, they're just following the companies guidelines on how to operate the store. If you're going to give 1 star give it to the people who put the rules in place, not this branch. At least it's still open.

Very busy but very little staff doing anything. Stood waiting for 25 minutes for something because they don't let you do it on the app

Worst branch i've been to, and most others don't deserve 1 star. Unlike other branches that have 1 staff behind the counter and 4 loitering around the store unhelpfully, this branch had noone behind the counter. They were instead in the queue for the 'self serve' deposit machine showing people how to use it, becuase they won't accept cash at the counter. Absolute joke.

Staff do not want to help you , asked to open a bank account to be told to go online. I said could someone give me a call and still waiting 6 weeks later . Also could do with a lick of paint inside

Straight in the assistant was patient and understanding even more so than normal as I couldn't find my bank card and then pressed wrong button on my online banking

How we supposed to pay money in or see anyone about any issues face to face when you are working don't see to why they are on short hours and not open on a Saturday think it's time to change banks review put on 2 months ago no reply from them anc seen plenty more that have been on longer will be leaving definitely now you don't deserve 1 star just goes to show what you think or your customers
