What a fantastic pub. We stayed the night after being out on a hike with Boots up adventures. The pub is very cosy with a great friendly atmosphere. The staff are great. The food is very nice. The rooms are good aswell. The breakfast was brilliant. All in all a brilliant place stay if your in the area for walk. We was lucky to have a brilliant lady on the organ and some great singers to entertain the pub. Thank you ?

My wife and I flew into Manchester on a red eye from the US. We were driving to York and stopped in to grab a quick bite to eat. The staff is very friendly and the food was excellent. The true English experience. Thank you!

Lovely cosy pub, comfortable and clean. Dog friendly. Serves delicious high quality food. Staff friendly and efficient.Do not try to get there using Google as it sends you to the wrong place.

Discovered this place by accident while travelling between Sheffield and Manchester.Attentive staff swiftly sorted our drinks order and warmed up by the fire before returning to our journey.
