Inside and outside dining with full table service by excellent staff offering a huge and varied menu which delivers absolutely brilliant food & drink in a truly beautiful area. There can't be a better dining pub in the county.

Visited yesterday after a recommendation and all I can say is wow, the food & the service were fantastic at a reasonable price so will definitely be returning.

Beautiful village pub serving amazing food and great service. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. I ordered the bruschetta for starters and then a lamb, mint and veg pie with chips, gravy and steamed veg and strips of rib eye steak in a blue cheese and red wine sauce with chips and salad. Both were 10/10. The portions were huge (took home a doggy bag) so much meat on both plates too and the sauce was to die for. I?d visit again just for the sauce lol. They also have a large range of GF too which is a bonus and didn?t have room for pudding but saw one being bought out and it looked stunning. We sat outside too which was lovely. Toilets very clean and parking round the back available. Well worth a visit.

6 off us came and ate different things all the dishes was presented well and tasted gorgeous highly recommend front off house staff amazing too will be back

Meal was atrocious. Order garlic mushrooms which came floating in grease with a blob cheese on the top. Main meal fish and chips was dreadful... chips looked like they had been there from the night before fish was over cook ... batter was that hard you had to break it with my fingers ... strawberry ice-cream came in an espresso cup with a small biscuits at the side ... they should change their pub sign from the Fleece to being Fleece.... only good thing about the whole event is someone else paid the bill... NEVER AGAIN

Not been for a long time as we thought it had gone down hill with the previous management team. Decided to pop in on a hot sunny may bank holiday weekend. Didn't have any food as it was packed inside and out but the food looked lovely with most people tucking into a Sunday roast. We just had a quiet drink in the corner. Looked at the menu on the boards and we both said we would try in the next few weeks.
