I really enjoyed my experience at this place; the food was absolutely delicious, and I loved the beautiful location. The ambiance was perfect, making it a very pleasant dining experience overall. However, I did notice that the tables weren't always cleaned as quickly as they could be, which could be improved. Hopefully, the staff can pay a bit more attention to this detail for a flawless experience.

Food and drinks: Prices well for the quality

We have just had an amazing wedding reception here. The food was fantastic - they served a welcome glass of prosecco, a hot buffet of chicken curry, three bean chilli and lasagne with sides of salad, coleslaw and chips - the food was great and there was plenty of it! The team put out our table centre pieces and favours. They even cut up our wedding cake for us. Some of our guests stayed at the hotel and really rated their room. There is lots of outdoor space and seating with a play area for the children and a fire pit area. The service was top class. Anne Louise covered every detail from the meetings we had with her prior to the big day. Thank you Anne Louise for all your hard work and making our day even more special.

Visited a few times for drinks and it's a great find.
Not eaten here yet but the food being served looks really good.

Can for a 3 course meal today. We was welcomed by staff which were friendly we was seated straight away our drinks and food order was taken and our drinks was brought to our table quickly. I had stuffed mushrooms for starters which was absolutely beautiful. I had a beef roast for main which was by far the best beef dinner I've tasted and homemade apple crumble for dessert. I would highly recommend and will be back again soon.

We visted here for a family meal out, service took a little longer which we understood as it was busy, so my partner had to get someone to take our food order, once someone came to take out order we ordered more drinks with the food, a waitress came back to tell us they had no OJ rum left so we just ordered a coke for my son and a beer instead of the rum. The food came out and the beer, we asked where the coke was and she said oh I'm sorry ill go check. The chips we ordered didn't come out with out meals and we had finished our meals and still no chips so we just said can we cancel the chips, then a waitress brought over a coke.. which I gave to my 11 year old autistic son. It turns out it had rum in it which me and my partner both could taste, which when we questioned it the lovely lady who served us last she even said it wasn't coke as it smelt funny, thats not a mistake that should of happened, the girl who was serving on the bar tried to say it wouldn't happen and it didnt have rum in it but the coke had rum in it regardless of whos fault it was. And we were even charged for the rum, We had things deducted from the bill such as the chips and the rum but unfortunately I don't think we will return. Its a shame.
