Attended Hatfield chase for my mother?s wake 23/06/2025. Food was delicious and staff were helpful and attentive. Would highly recommend for functions. Thank you for your help on a very difficult day.

Kitchen was busy on a sunny day. Yorkshire Waygu burger. So overcooked, hard chips. Very disappointed. Left most of it.

Absolutely disgusting. People snorting coke In the toilets. Travellers washing in the toilets. The Manager was abusive and prejudiced against disabled people.
Bur was happy for kids as young as 3 to be running around at gone 10pm with there parents drunk.

Just had my first visit here for about 8 years, however was unfortunately left disappointed. The food was reasonably good (albeit the steak and ciabatta were both a little chewy) and there was a good selection of drinks, however the service was poor despite being a quiet Monday lunch time. We ordered at our table outside via the QR code on the menu, but when our food came out we could see the waitresses looked puzzled and didn't seem to believe that that was our order, despite us confirming we'd ordered online for that table with an order confirmation number provided, and seemed reluctant to give us the food as we had no basket on the table? We were then not offered any condiments, noone came to check how our food was and we were not asked when the plates were eventually cleared either. It's a shame as both the indoor and outdoor areas are well maintained and the prices were reasonable, however the service let it down for us.

Good food, good drinks(lots of options), nice atmosphere. Tables inside and outside are also animal friendly. 100% recommend.

We held my grandfathers wake here, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely. Friendly staff, managers attentive and checked in a few times to make sure we were all okay. Thank you ??

We as a family love going over to The Chase for food and drinks and it?s fantastic that we can take our dog with us too. Milly loves saying hello to the staff( and other customers) and getting lots of cuddles?.
The staff are always friendly and the food is excellent?
