We had a very comfortable three-night stay here, would recommend for a stopover of a similar length or shorter. The room felt cozy and was nicely kept warm, and the hotel is quite conveniently located for the area, though you can only access the northbound A1 directly from it. Despite being right at the side of the A1, the busy road seemed so much further away than it was, as the sound is dissipated very nicely. Not a great deal of charging facilities in the room, however.

Very basic rooms but very cheap prices so can't really complain. Ideal for a stopover while travelling as located so close to the A1. Room was clean and did the job. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We spent 2 nights and found it nice and clean. The room was lovely and warm. We couldn't hear any traffic even though we were in a room next to the road . The room was very spacious. Staff were very friendly and we look forward to

Stayed at the hotel for two nights found the hotel clean and warm.staff we're friendly but the place needs to be upgraded front doors broken and surrounding area needs a good makeover lamposts leaning over onto cars garden looked as if they had had a car rally. And to top it off security lights shine through the windows all night.Rooms: Clean and tidy.Noteworthy details: Take care when parking full of pot holes. And as you can see security lights still on in the daytime. And to the people who run or own the hotel please take the picture of the hotel on your website down it doesn't look like that.

Excellent location for access to Doncaster and the motorway. There is a petrol station,Burger King and a Greggs on site. The room was big and bright with very good heating and hot water. The ensuite bathroom was very clean. Towels are changed daily. The manager Claire was super helpful when I arrived a few hours earlier for check-in as I had flown in from abroad. She provided me with excellent customer service and support and nothing was too much trouble for her to help me with.Sue the supervisor also provided excellent directions for me to get to work on time for my first day.Melody (Mel) and Katy are also excellent staff members as they made me feel right at home for my long stay there. I will definitely be returning in the near future. This Travelodge is the No1 in Doncaster for short-term and long-term stays. Thanks again Claire!

This is better placed for North bound travel. But if you need to go south its easier to use the lane south of the car park that leads to the Barnsley road, where you can then join the A1.

Staff were lovely and friendly, room was clean and comfortable and wasn't too noisy despite being next to the road.Only slight negative is the location. Useful for a pitstop but to call it 'Doncaster' is a bit of a stretch when it is seven miles at least away. That said, a single bus can get you into town and they run late.
